Rosso Vivo Dine & Lounge — Restaurant in Kuta

We went to this restaurant last night at 10:30, and it wasn’t that busy anymore when we arrived. However, all the waitstaff were very lazy, and I had no idea what they were doing. All they did was make us wait. We ordered a special “Volcano Pizza,” which comes with a lighting ceremony. After the server brought the pizza, they told us to wait, and then disappeared. We stared at this ball-shaped pizza for 5 minutes with no idea why we were waiting. No one came to explain. Eventually, we had no choice but to call another server to ask if we could eat it. But again, they told us to wait. Two minutes later, the server returned with a lighter and some alcohol, and only then did we realize they were supposed to light it on fire.

Overall, the food was average—neither bad nor particularly tasty. The price was relatively cheap, but I have no idea if they consider themselves fine dining or something. It definitely didn’t feel worth it. The service was terrible because all they did was make you wait. Every server seemed to have the same lazy attitude. I absolutely do not...

I recently visited this restaurant and, unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the outset, the service was lacking — I had to remind the staff three times about the order we had already placed. I could see our order going to next table. Further, despite clearly asking for the drink and starter to be served together, the drink arrived first, and the starter only came after several more reminders and when drinks were over. We had to order the drinks again.

The pricing is quite exorbitant for what’s offered. The quality of the food is average at best and definitely doesn’t justify the cost. I was especially disappointed with the bruschetta — I’ve never seen it presented this way in any restaurant before, and not in a good sense (see image).

Though the waiter did come around occasionally to ask if everything was okay, there was no follow-through. Even after giving feedback, things continued at their own slow pace. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and inattentive. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless the service and value improve...

A very nice place for a meal and to chill out. We went for dinner the first time and had a tomato bruschetta and a pizza that was absolutely delicious (all cheese and another one I can't remember the name). Perfect dough and lots of filling. Service was very slow, but we didn't mind much as the food was very good. Then we decided to go back on the following day for lunch, as we had really enjoyed the pizza. But it was easy to tell that it was a different cook/chef: the pizza could be compared to the cheapest Domino's pizzas we get in Australia (and I think it had even less filling than Domino's!!). The dough was still very nice, but we regretted going this time as the pizza wasn't good at all and the service was even slower (we actually had to go and ask someone to come to our table once, as they were having a cool chat at the bar and would not even look at us.
