Graha Sandat Villas by Pramana — Hotel in Pulau Bali

Booked here for 4 nights but left after 2. Even though we discussed our issues with the staff there they refused any kind of compensation, be warned. Wardrobe broken and outside so could not use it or the safety deposit box inside it The mosquito nets above and around the bed were very dirty so that you didn’t really want to sleep in them Building noise from 7:15am from the villa next door that the hotel is renovating, no mention of this in the advert. The fresh water machine was in direct sunlight so the cold water was always hot, and this can cause Legionnaire’s disease (we know this because we are landlords in the UK and we have to do Legionnaire’s checks of the water supply in our properties by law) The light in the shower did not work, the shower head was hanging down and there is black mould in the shower than can cause respiratory problems if breathed in The fridge was rusty The gas hob was broken, and there was no way of lighting it to cook anything, though I wouldn’t want to use it in case it caused us an injury The marble kitchen sink surround was all broken up There was only one knife to do any vegetable/fruit preparation with The air conditioner leaks in the bedroom onto the sofa, wetting some of the clothes we had on it One of the sun Loungers was broken The sofa was stained and had a little hole in it Finally it is very difficult to open the sliding bedroom doors from the inside because there are only handles on the outside

This villa is not well maintained and the pictures and advert do not mention any of this, so it is a false representation of the villa and not worth the cost we...

❌ SCAMMERS ❌

We booked through Agoda a 6 person villa with private pool. Once we arrived, they told us the Villa did NOT have a pool and there was no shared pool between other villas. We paid for a pool, as advertised. Hotel blamed Agoda and told us to call them to get a refund, we did not want a refund, we wanted a pool. They had other 2 person villas available that had private pools, but they wouldn’t let us use them and we had to pay extra to stay in those.

We had no time to go find another hotel. My mom is in a wheelchair and the road to get to the hotel was very difficult for a grab to pick her up. We had to pay extra to put my mom in a Villa with a pool, and we had to get over to her Villa to use it every day. Management was useless and unhelpful, they did not care about our situation even though we showed screenshots of the booking. They only wanted us to pay extra and kept blaming Agoda.

The 3 bedroom Villa was super old and unwelcoming. The living area was right across from reception so could not open the curtains (see photos) Everything was mouldy and seemed dated. No one ever came to clean the rooms and we had to ask for a refill toilet paper.

Lady at reception apologised, and after that seeing the reviews on google, seems like a lot of people have complained about this same scam...

The place is rundown and outdated, and needs some care.

We entered the villa and instantly were confronted with the stained sofa and rusty kitchen.

I generally don’t like to complain or make others feel disappointed but you couldn’t deny that what is displayed online differs a lot from the actual product sold.

I think it’s only fair that others are aware of what they’re getting into when booking this villa and fair to know the truth.

The bathrooms need a good clean, there are no windows in the upstairs area and it feels unsafe, the windows/doors don’t shut properly, the fridge downstairs is old and smelly. See pictured.

We ended up leaving almost immediately and booked a resort in Ubud for cheaper than this villa charged us, and it’s 4 Star.

I have to say the manager did try and offer us another suitable accommodation at one of their other villas but we had already booked alternative accommodation.

We have tried to get a refund but it appears that management and staff don’t respond to emails. Both myself and Expedia have contacted the manager to no avail.

Unfortunately the bad reviews are true on this occasion. Unless you’re looking for budget accomodation for a large group, I’d try and...
