Sekar Sari Kitchen — Restaurant in Pulau Bali

This is a great little warung off the main road in Ubud. We came to Sekar Sari Kitchen looking for a local place to eat when we arrived in Ubud. The reviews we read matched our experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the spring rolls, which ended up being the best we ate in Bali over our 3 week stay in the country. All the meals our family purchased were delicious and high quality. Everything was made fresh to order. The meals were all reasonably priced. The drinks were also great value too. The staff were friendly and helpful, despite not speaking much English. We had a lovely meal here. Highly recommend this sweet little warung if you are looking for some local food out of the busy main part of Ubud. We enjoyed lunch here on the 7th May and would not have come across this hidden gem if it wasn’t for the reviews. If you’re staying nearby do yourself a favour and drop in to this small unassuming kitchen, even if you’re not it’s worth the walk or the short ride. While we’ve enjoyed many memorable meals in Bali on this trip and also previously, this place was a real standout. I have never left any google reviews before in my life but this family-owned traditional warung was just so good that I must introduce it to y’all! There are so many fancy restaurants in Ubud but none of them can beat the local cuisine offered in this warung! The price is super duper cheap, but the food tastes like michelin 5-star courses.
