Jalan Jalan Villa & Spa — Hotel in Pulau Bali

Flight centre prepaid my accommodation When I arrived, the manager requested payment from me . I showed him my receipt from flight Centre and told him that I did not want any trouble or I would check into another hotel and inform the authorities.||The compound is run down and not as shown on the internet as a three star accommodation. I would not even give it a 1 star rating The swimming pool was dirty and there was no spar. Neither was there any yoga on the as advertised My sunhat went missing from my room which I had locked. My breakfasts were paid for . and on the last day, there was no breakfast. the shower and toilet was not clean. The toilet had broken down On my exit to the airport, the young man at the counter asked for payment. I told him that I had already paid and why he was harassing me for money . i asked him to check with his boss and he replied that the boss said that [payment was overdue. I showed him my receipt from Flight Centre and gave him flight Centres number to call . I heard Indonesian voices on the phone so it was not flight Centre that he called. I told him that I was stressed out and that he and his manager had spoilt my holiday . From the first day , i was on edge, not knowing what else they...

This was a most unexpected surprise . We arrived late with no reservation, and honestly my first impression was oh,oh. We were greeted warmly and shown to our very spacious " cabana". It was fabulous! Comfy bed, bedside tables...with lamps ! Fridge, tv, desk, wardrobe ..with hangers! Ac, bathtub,and a large patio with table and chairs.If you haven't been to Bali before you have no idea how much a fridge can make your life so much better. The grounds were lovely, and the pool was large and cleaned everyday.. All in all its was lovely, but I think the best part was the manager , Mr. Arka and his very professional staff. Everyone of them made us feel like we were family. From suggestions on where to go and what to do , to special menu items made just for me, always with a smile !I honestly can't say enough about the staff and the hospitality they showed us. The hotel is in true Balinese style and is set off the street making it super quiet . Located in an area with fabulous restaurants, and close to major attractions, we pretty well walked everywhere! This is a super choice when you are in Ubud. We would definitely return to...

I may sound picky here, however when I check in I expect my room to be prim and proper. On arrival staff were welcoming friendly like everywhere in Bali. They Lead us to our room which was on the ground floor located in the middle of lots of trees so there was constantly insects and massive bees flying round (hey it's nature I guess) ||We walked in our room to find it uncleaned, I walked straight into the bathroom which was old rotten, brown stains in the bathtub and lots of flies stuck to the wall. I instantly knew I can't stay here, plus I have a phobia. If u can handle the buds and insects then it may be the place for u but not for me.|Due to the season it was very quiet as no one was in the hotel, no noise or atmosphere. |The doors don't shut like a proper door, with a key, they just use a padlock so anything can crawl in the gaps. |We left and decided to go somewhere else. |However when I told the staff they did show me a couple of other alternatives and tried to rectify the situation but I knew I couldn't stay. |Staff were great |Just an honest review. ||Couldn't get pictures as I left straight away....
