Honestly, I don't want to do this. But this is the worst experience I have ever had. I dated my girlfriend for the first time in this place (2018). Now she becomes my wife and I have been here a few times after as well. But this afternoon I came again with her and my son. The staff was just looked at me, stares me up and down, not even smile, not even come to us saying welcome or anything. So I asked her is it open?. I asked for a bottle of big mineral water, she send it to our table by just putting it, without saying anything and disappear. My wife told me, that she's not feeling comfortable with the staff behavior. no hospitality at all. The staff bring the pizza, without even care to re arrange our table space so I have to do it myself. After that she just go without saying please enjoy or etc. I can see most of them (the ladies) the way they walk, dragging their legs, heads up like lazy. Their expression, really showing that "ok F you". I ordered Quatro Formaggi Pizza and Involtini which is amazing, for me it's 5 star. But the service make it worst. It's very unfortunate to have an amazing product without the support from the service side. I know maybe some of you will think what do I expect from the service on this kind of restaurant. But please at least just be nice. Welcome the guest with smile, being more attentive. I think it's pretty basic stuff. I wrote this because I love your food I don't want you have another problem (could be bigger) with other guests which can impact your business significantly. We never know who we are dealing with right?. The staff really need to be trained and monitor if you do care with your...
Read moreProbably the worst service I have had in Asia! After spending over 6 months in the region this pizza restaurant was something else. The food itself was brilliant, and really tasty. Pizza was cooked by a wood fired oven and it was done how it should be. But the poor staff were worked like crazy which resulted in the service being very bad.
We were served starters with no knife and forks, the plates were just slammed down on the table with no asking who ordered what. Then we were left waiting, with no cutlery. Finally once we had got our cutlery and started eating the starters the mains came out so we were left with so many dishes on the table.
Again, the mains were just slammed on the table very quickly and we literally had to rearrange the table so we all had our own pizzas in front of us. There service here was just non existent.
To make things even weirder, what looked like the owner of the eatery, an Italian man was sat with a group of men doing shots right by the entrance whilst there was a que going out the door. Surely the table could have been used for customers and not for the owner to do shots?
The staff here just had no respect for the owner, and I wasn’t surprised. Completely overworked resulting in very poor service.
I would come back here, but I would just...
Read moreThe worst Italian I have ever had in 30 trips to Bali. This place is hyped because it’s on one of the busiest street/touristy area. The only thing going on for it is its strategic location. Despite having a brick oven the pizza was flavorless, the crust like a doughy cardboard, and the toppings might have been fresh last month. The pasta dishes were also not only unauthentic, but poor quality overall—for example the olive oil is fake, but they took the time to put a cheaper substitute in an authentic bottle. Staff were the same as the food—tasteless, without character, and under achieving—acting as if they were doing the customers a favor by just showing up. The lamps also had dusty spider webs which can already tell you so much about the hygiene level, you can only pay cash which would have been helpful had they informed us in the beginning. Over all unpleasant, this place is not for a person with a refined or even unrefined Italian food pallet. Just...
