Madu Sentana House — Hotel in Pulau Bali

Loved staying here with my 20 month old daughter. We stayed in accommodation at the very lower grounds of the property which was faced by beautiful, well maintained jungle-like gardens and a running stream!||Our room was basic with a fan, but plenty of room and it even included our very own outdoor gas kitchen, which was fantastic!||I would recommend this place for everyone, solo, family (like us), friends etc.||The breakfast was delightful, served between 8-10am at your request. I highly recommend the banana pancake, which comes with a plate of fruit.||The family, EVERYONE in the family and their friends are so lovely and kind and my 20 month old daughter even made some new friends to play with.||A fantastic, budget stay, kind of in the middle of both sides of the Ubud action, so getting to the monkey forest or the rice fields was very easy without moto.||We even had our own pet dragon for a little while, he would hang our on our doorstep waiting for us to get home lol||And my daughter enjoyed using our mini flashlight to spot the geckos on the ceiling at night. Very cool if you enjoy the wilderness and great to see my daughter learning new things, playing with other chikdren and taking in new experiences all because of our stay on...

We spent two weeks at Madu Sentana House in Ubud, surrounded by peaceful greenery and conveniently located near markets and prominent sites. The property is within walking distance to central Ubud, making it an ideal base for exploration. Although Ubud is approximately a 2-hour drive from Bali International Airport due to traffic, we were warmly welcomed upon our late evening arrival. The rooms are accessible via a short walk with some stairs, leading to a cozy space with a well-equipped kitchen and attached bathroom. We loved the ambiance and requested a room light adjustment, which was promptly addressed by the owner. The kitchen has basic cooking essentials, and drinking water is provided. The surrounding greenery is stunning, making it a pleasure to sit outside at night. One of the highlights of our stay was the owner's attentive service, ensuring our room was cleaned and refreshed whenever needed, usually within a few days. Wi-Fi was reliable for the first week, but unfortunately, we experienced connectivity issues for the remainder of our stay, which we couldn't resolve...

This guest house exceeded my expectations in many ways. The hotel offered excellent amenities, including reliable Wi-Fi, conveniently located electric sockets near the bed, fresh towels, a desk, and a spacious wardrobe in the room. What impressed me most was the cleanliness of the room, which stood out compared to other hotels I've stayed in.

Additionally, there was a small kitchen area outside the room with a dining table, although I didn't have the chance to use it during my stay. The major highlight of my experience was the incredibly friendly and helpful owner, who went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable.

The only minor inconvenience was the need to walk down a short distance from the main road to reach the hotel. However, the owner kindly assisted us with our luggage, making it a non-issue.
