Nara Guest House — Hotel in Pulau Bali

Ubud is an place in Bali I think anyone who goes there, should visit|This is where one of the monkey forrests can be found |The Nara Ubud cottage is where we decided to stay. There was only about 5 rooms there so it was very quiet. The rooms were situated around a pond |Breafast is bought to your door each morning at a time you request. You have to place your order the day before |Great pool as well with enough sunbeds |It is located only a couple of minutes from the monkey Forrest and about 10 minutes from the town centre. However, to get to the centre you need to go through an alley way around the Forrest. This alleyway is is also used as a cut through for mopeds |Its fine to use throughout the day but it very dark at night|The centre has some great restaurants and bars. |Overall, the week we spent in Ubud was great |Only saw 2 members of staff the entire time we was there but both very helpful |Especially the man who worked there. |||If you like a smaller ( 5rooms) resort, a peaceful environment , spotlessly clean good sized rooms with a great balcony , a shower with hot/cold water and great pressure..., a nice sufficient breakfast on your own balcony and the use of a fantastic swimming pool... look no further. The 5 rooms are situated on a big pond with water-feature and balinese gazebo. Very quiet during day as well as night time. A short walk to spa's, warungs, other shops and Monkey forest. There is a small lane next to Monkey Forest for bike/walking but it gets busy on that lane. |Daily room service, small fridge with drinks available for purchase near reception, pool towels also at reception. A small hotel with simple rooms located in a beautiful and relaxing garden. So quiet, and yet so close to everything. I really liked the property, which was so well taken care of (the garden, but also the beautiful swimming-pool and the excellent massages on site). Everyone was very friendly: I am grateful for their kindness, genuine smiles and discussions. The room was basic and a bit dark, but it was fine with me: it was clean, Wi-Fi worked well, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious.
