Good location with beautiful view, easily accessible via the Marina Grande. The crew are very welcoming, polite, and have high level of service finesse. Needless to say that the food is fantastic. We had the seafood fritters platter, amberjack cerviche, potato gnocchi, and grilled octopus. Very good vibes and ambiance with the live singing singing performance. It is not fine dining, but we could tell that much thoughts and consideration were taken in all aspects (furnishings, service ware used, crew attitude and culture, quality and presentation of the food). It was the highlight of our trip, and I would give 10 out of 5 stars if I could.

We chose to come back here the next day even after exploring and reading up on other restaurants - I think this is a huge testament to them 👍🏻. They recognized us immediately, and took such great care of us! We ordered the cerviche again, and the seafood risotto (which was extremely flavorful without being too overpowering). We ended up spending the entire afternoon here even though it was our last day (best spot on the island, with good food and crew). But of course, reviews are very subjective, so my advice would be to just come here and experience it for...

After reading the numerous amazing reviews, my group of friends and I were excited to cap our Capri trip with a bang – seaside view and cooling drinks. Instead, we were left thoroughly disrespected and disappointed by Da Gemma.
Despite having multiple tables open and making multiple eye contacts, the waiting staff made no attempt to bring people to tables or acknowledge new arrivals. I would understand this if it was swamped, but this was not the case. We patiently waited more than ten minutes, only to have them serve someone after us, with no reservations. They were given a table and we were told to wait an hour. As we had a boat to catch later in the day, we didn't bother waiting.
To future customers, just go to the cashier, located in the middle of the restaurant and demand a table. You may need to approach a staff directly, because they will avoid you like the plague.
To the managerial staff, I hope you can give your staff proper etiquette and service training. I took the time to write this review to serve as a learning moment. No amount of seaside views can save a business if the foundation is rotten. Good luck with turning...
Read moreWell let's start by saying that I hope your wallet is full before entering this place.
BeachClub: you will have to spend 5 good minutes finding someone that can help you with renting chairs. Then it's going to be 30 euros per chair; add 10 euros for an umbrella. You will have a choice of a large concrete patio or the beach. Honestly it's expensive but it's also a nice place to leave your stuff during the day if you want to grab a bite at a restaurant nearby or maybe do an activity like renting a scooter.
Restaurant: We were told when we arrived to just sit somewhere. We waited 5 minutes, never received a hello or a menu, I had to go fetch some menus myself from a side table. We then waited another 20minutes before a server arrived to finally take our order. Then we waited another 50 minutes for our food to arrive.... One good thing, the pastas were in the top ones we ate in Italy so there is that. Be prepared to pay a ridiculous price for all place outside of a panini.. even basic salads are 25+euros. There is also a 11euros cover charge just to sit at the table, water is 5 euros etc.
Food was really good, everything else feels like a mega...
