Loved this little hotel, the staff were so friendly & helpful, the continental breakfast was very good with fresh pastries, fruit, cheeses & meats, there was also plenty to choose from with the cooked breakfast too, very good with lots of choice!! It may be a little basic for some people but we were just passing through on our motorbike staying here to rest up for a couple of nights, but it was clean and comfortable with no complaints, I’d recommend this hotel without any reservations whatsoever. We had a lovely balcony with our room which was beautiful to sit on & watch the sun go down across Lake Garda after a very busy & eventful day, then having our morning coffee before the day started. There’s a small but very pretty beach on Lake Garda just across the road, & the ferry terminal is very close by. Everyone was so friendly in Desenzano town & the castle is beautiful, there’s also Rambotti archeological museum displaying items from Paleolithic to the Bronze Age which is very interesting to all history buffs!! There’s also remains of a Roman Villa for you to go see too. All in all our time in Desenzano Town was definitely one to remember and somewhere I’d love to return to one day to...

We paid extra for a lake facing view, which was a disappointing as there are large trees on the lakeside promenade that block your view, and with no balcony it is just a view. However, the roof top terrace more that supplemented for this and as we were usually on our own, perfect. The hotel is located just outside of Desenzano thus away from the majority of the noise in the centre and is of the small and friendly variety. The staff were excellent, the hotel spick and span, and breakfast was of the all you can eat continental variety and although adjacent to a busy road the noise suppression through the windows and shutters...
