To begin with, if you are concerned about the safety of yourself and your family, I do not recommend this hotel as the location is in a very quiet and isolated neighbourhood. In particular after dark, I did not feel safe at all with dodgy people roaming around and staring at me. Obviously this is nothing to do with the hotel management, just an observation and my experience. Most staff were nice, except some may need to be properly hospitality trained. For example they need to be thought “Do NOT enter a room when the do not disturb sign is on” - in our case, despite the do not disturb sign was on display visibly from outside of the room, without knocking, yes without even knocking on the door, staff member opened the door. Luckily we were not naked or doing other private things. Apparently, it was not a big deal for the hotel manager as later her response was “people can make mistakes” - I found that strange. But that clearly indicates what kind of establishment this place is. Moving on, the real issue, I booked a triple room for 3 nights and were charged over €800 for the room. Very well, However, one of us ended up sleeping on an uncomfortable couch in a tiny room. Apparently it was a “bed” (see the “bed” photo for yourself) The management did not care when I raised the issue. Why they would care when they have my credit card details, right? Charge whatever you want. So be very careful with this hotel. The risk is high as you will be dealing with management that are not very honest and open. Changing a room was “impossible” (to accommodate a suitable room) as the hotel was “full” according to 2 staff members on 2 separate occasions. Again, they have the credit card number, so why bother to satisfy a guest. Finally and to make it clear, if you want to get ripped off, staff entering your room without your permission (being naked in the room or have valuables in room whilst you are not there), this is your hotel. In my view there are plenty of ways to waste your money, like pouring it down the drain. This hotel should be a guesthouse, providing they will act with honestly and integrity. Sadly and ignorantly they think it is a 4 star hotel. It was a disappointing stay which I would strongly suggest you to reconsider your other options. In particular if you are concerned about your and your family’s safety and well being.

I was very impressed by this hotel. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. You could tell the workers took their jobs seriously and wanted to make sure their guests are happy. The hotel was beautiful, modern and clean. They refilled the refrigerator everyday with water, sparkling water, flavored sparkling water, little wafer chocolate crackers, mixed nuts etc. it was such a nice perk. They had great shampoo and conditioner. You could have your laundry done for you or they have a washer and dryer to use on the second floor for $4 euros each machine. This was so helpful. The pool was beautiful. I am bummer we didn’t have time to use their sauna and spa area but you can schedule a 45 min complimentary session each day with your stay. I will be staying here again and plan to use that. It was a ten min walk to the Duomo. We walked everywhere from our hotel. It was about 20 min to ponte Vecchio. The breakfast was the best I have ever seen. Make sure to book with the breakfast included. They had everything you could think of and the staff was constantly making sure everything was stocked and laid out perfectly for each guest. The only complaint- the pillows were hard as a rock. They were able to find us two pillows that had some give but the first night it was like sleeping on a hardwood board. Check your pillows right away and see if they will work for you. The space of the room was a little smaller than our other hotels we stayed at but we did have a beautiful terrace that was huge which we enjoyed to take a few minutes each day to take a few moments to relax and still be outside. We did have dinner at the hotel the first night as we were beyond tired. I would recommend the pizza. Skip the pasta. Make sure to make a reservation at the front desk as they are quite busy. A perfect location, amazing service. They have two other locations in Italy and I would def stay at this location again. Grazie Mille!!

What a wonderful hotel! Located on the edge of the historic city center, this hotel is a short walk from the heart of Florence. The location provides a quiet respite from the bustling city center, without sacrificing access to the city center. The rooms are modern and roomy with very comfortable beds. My room had a large bathroom with a phenomenal shower, ample counter space, and a terrific variety of uniquely packaged toiletries by Soapify. I also had a large private terrace with beautiful plants~ the perfect place to start and finish my day. The hotel also has a lovely pool~ a rare treat in the city center! While I was there, they were opening a pool bar with drinks and a light lunch menu. The hotel restaurant, I'Qortile, is a hidden gem, and probably the biggest surprise of my stay. It offers indoor and outdoor seating, and the breakfast is fantastic. From fresh cheeses and meats to pastries and fresh fruit... I never ate the same breakfast twice! I also enjoyed dinner there, which I highly recommend. The barman is quite the mixologist~ I had a drink made with chamomile-infused tequila and egg whites that was a perfect balance of cool and smooth with a crisp finish. The restaurant's menu is a well curated variety of the best of Tuscany~ the presentation of the Coccoli with prosciutto and stracchino cheese was pure joy, and the polenta fritta with ragu was delicious. Everything I ordered was presented beautifully and tasted fresh and delicious. Overall, the service was excellent, from the front desk to the restaurant. The location offers a peaceful setting close to all of the action, and the amenities the hotel offers are above and beyond what I expect from a four star hotel in Florence. I will definitely be back to stay AND for dinner!!

Exceptional Stay at IQ Hotel Firenze – A True Gem in the Heart of Florence!

My recent stay at IQ Hotel Firenze was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I stepped into the property, I was greeted with warmth, professionalism, and a level of attention to detail that is truly rare to find these days.

The rooms are beautifully designed with a modern yet cozy feel, offering a perfect blend of style and comfort. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered—from the ambient lighting and elegant décor to the generous space and smart layout. The bed was incredibly comfortable, paired with perfectly soft and supportive pillows, ensuring I had a restful sleep each night after exploring the beautiful streets of Florence.

Cleanliness is clearly a top priority at this hotel. The entire property, especially the rooms and bathrooms, were spotless—immaculately cleaned every single day. It gave a strong sense of comfort and care, which really enhanced the whole experience.

One of the small but impressive luxuries was the well-stocked mini bar, which was refilled every single day at no extra cost. It was packed with thoughtful options—perfect for a quick refreshment after returning from sightseeing or while unwinding in the evening. It’s such a rare and generous touch that added a lot of value to the stay.

The staff at IQ Hotel Firenze deserve a special mention. Every single team member I encountered—from the front desk to housekeeping—was gentle, warm, and genuinely welcoming. They always had a smile and were ready to assist with any request, offering recommendations or help whenever needed, making me feel truly cared for.

Location-wise, the hotel is absolutely perfectly situated—right in the heart of Florence. Whether you’re heading to the Duomo, the Uffizi Gallery, or just wandering through charming alleys and piazzas, everything is within easy walking distance. It’s the ideal base for both first-time visitors and seasoned travelers looking to enjoy the city without needing transportation.

In every possible way, IQ Hotel Firenze exceeded my expectations. I left with beautiful memories and absolutely no complaints. This hotel has set a new benchmark for hospitality, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Florence. It’s rare to find a place where comfort, service, and location come together this seamlessly.

I will absolutely return on my next trip—and I genuinely look...

My husband and I stayed at iQ Hotel Firenze on our honeymoon, and I have so many great things to say! To start with the check-in, the staff at the desk were so incredibly nice and friendly. They also have great memory and made it feel like they developed a personal connection with the guests, as evidenced by the interactions with others who were staying there. They made some recommendations on food, offered plenty of assistance. There are a few elevators to assist you to the room which was lovely. When we opened the door, we were so impressed with the room. It was spotless with many modern amenities. They even surprised us with a nice bottle of champagne to celebrate! It truly made such a great impact on our trip and made it a special time.

This is by far one of the cleanest hotels that I have ever stayed. There were plenty of lights in the room, plenty of outlets. The toiletries in the room were great, as well. I really felt like this hotel thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We did bring our own white noise machine; however, we did not hear any other guests during the whole stay. We were on the third floor. The windows open to a beautiful courtyard as well.

We did not get dinner at the restaurant, but we did get breakfast. The food was great, far more than I could have ever wanted. The staff was also incredibly accommodating, offering to help with any allergy issues, and if we needed help translating anything as well.

The spa here was amazing and a great way to relax. We were able to book a time for this and were able to enjoy the amenities.

When it was time for us to leave, we had a seamless check out process and they were able to hold our bags for us as our transport was not until much later in the afternoon. The bags were easily accessible and quickly retrieved without wait.

We loved this place so much that we even looked into canceling our next leg of the trip's accommodations and booking into iQ Hotel Roma! We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to stay here again on our next...
