I love pizza. It’s a passion. We arrived from Florence a few days ago from Rome. I had created my very own pizza tour. I made sure to eat at some of the best pizza places in Rome. Piccolo Bucco was one that we waited 40 minutes to eat at. They had very good pizza. Excellent even. I have to tell you….this pizza even better. First, the dough is outstanding. I had a calzone actually - which is really all about the dough. There was ricotta, pepperoni, mozzarella and tomatoes…..but the ricotta was plentiful. The portion size was HUGE. I ate the whole thing. I amazed even myself….but it was so bloody delicious, how could I not? We had a very nice bottle of wine that cost only 9 Euros. This place is very unassuming. It was a rainy night. There was only one other couple in the restaurant with us. Do not let this put you off….this place is a gem. It is a very authentic pizzeria, and a one man show, with the owner both preparing and serving the pizza (the only food on the menu). He is very kind and efficient. The prices are very good both for the food and the wine. The pizza is very tasty and fresh and the wine..well you are in Italy, so very good. The restaurant may not be right in the middle of downtown, but it's definitely worth the 10-15 min (also very pleasant) walk. All in all, if you want dinner in a no frills place but that feels and tastes very homey and authentic I highly...

Best pizza in Firenze!!!

The local is wonderful, perfect for a romantic pizza dining, offering wines at affordable prices!

The building is from the 1400s l, so the beauty and atmosphere is unique, intriguing, and lovely, all at the same time!

The taste is amazing, the dough is fresh and delicate, it is a work of art!

The ingredients are of prime quality!

The owners are awesome, always kind, gentle, and glad for doing the best pizza in the city! Haha!

I recommend, every person who comes to this city, shall eat in this earthy paradise!

I suggest one per person, as there are no appetizers, salads or desserts. However, the pie melts in your mouth!! In traditional style, it arrives uncut for you to choose the size of your slice. (I like it quartered and then folded Philadelphia-style 😘) Highly recommended for a simple meal of delicious ingredient driven Neapolitan pizza!!
