Passed this place a few (4-5) blocks from my hotel walking away from the center of town. The placed was packed at noon for lunch with all locals (no tourists). I got a Tuscan favorite comfort food, Peposo dell'impruneta, (a beef stew)(7 euro) with a mixed salad with tuna and mozzarella (5 euro), and a glass of red wine (3 euro). This is not fine dining but the stew was flavorful, portion size right for lunch and the salad was perfect (fresh with the right amount of ingredients. The wine was good too. Food is typical everyday Tuscan food and nothing that will earn them a Michelin Star, but it was good. Also, the place made me feel like I was eating in a neighborhood place where locals go - not true with other places I ate at in Florence. There were two owners - one cooked and tended bar, while the other waited tables and he spoke English. Overall, it was one of the most of my most memorable food experiences in Florence....
