Passed this place a few (4-5) blocks from my hotel walking away from the center of town. The placed was packed at noon for lunch with all locals (no tourists). I got a Tuscan favorite comfort food, Peposo dell'impruneta, (a beef stew)(7 euro) with a mixed salad with tuna and mozzarella (5 euro), and a glass of red wine (3 euro). This is not fine dining but the stew was flavorful, portion size right for lunch and the salad was perfect (fresh with the right amount of ingredients. The wine was good too. Food is typical everyday Tuscan food and nothing that will earn them a Michelin Star, but it was good. Also, the place made me feel like I was eating in a neighborhood place where locals go - not true with other places I ate at in Florence. There were two owners - one cooked and tended bar, while the other waited tables and he spoke English. Overall, it was one of the most of my most memorable food experiences in Florence. Recommended.

Had lunch here - cheap and tasty. When the waitress saw me Google translating an Italian menu she immediately provided English menus and when we ordered gave details of the dish to ensure we knew exactly what we were getting. And what we got was exceptional! We had Garganelli with gorgonzola and speck and the squid with spinach and a tomato sauce - the most tender squid I think I have ever had. Highly recommend.

100% recommend it. We stopped by spontaneously for a quick lunch and it was the perfect spot for very good, affordable and “no nonsense” food. Everything tasted very fresh and flavorful. Service was friendly and attentive (spoke very good English as well) and everything came promptly. If you want an authentic experience with great value for money, don't miss this place! 😊

Had lunch here a couple of times in September 2022. The first time I ordered octopus and it was firm, hard to chewing. But I decided to give the place a second chance because the nice atmosphere and friendliness. However, the second time, instead of shrimps in pasta, they served two shrimp heads and a shell completely without meat. All desire to come here disappeared. There are definitely better places to eat...
