B&B La Casa di Bruno — Hotel in Naples

I do not think this place deserves 4+ stars overall. Few things to point out so you know what to expect:

The B&B is in an ugly residential building which is in a dodgy steet. The overall location suited my needs (close to the port and old town). The room was very clean but the decor rather outdated and the view was ugly - back of the surrounding buildings. Having breakfast on the terrace was the best part but not a reason to book this place. Also the access to the terrace is via the host's apartment, which felt a little awkward and also cannot be accessed at any other times apart from breakfast. Breakfast was fine, some pastries, juice and coffee (which I thought was nice) and you are also offered a basic omelette with a slice of bread. It's not a self-service, the host brings this out. The host - was not very pleasant to deal with. Her English is very limited and also any questions seem to be a hassle. The house rules will be pointed out in a "parent - child" like manner - all of which felt not pleasant and unwelcoming. I asked if I could leave my luggage behind as my flight was not till later that evening. The request was accomodated but you need to come back at the agreed hour, so if you change your plans then there is no flexibility to collect it.

All in all, I think 2-3* is about the right rating for this place and overal experiene. Also, it certainly is not worth the €100 per...

We had a great stay here. The fold out bed (for the room was even comfortable! They were extremely helpful when we ran it o an issue, and went out of their way to help out. The issue that we ran into was that we booked what was listed as the "royal double room" on the booking platform, with 2 queen beds listed, for two people. They assumed that this meant we wanted to share a bed. When we told them that we each wanted our own, they rushed to help set up the second bed. If you want to book that room (the Cobalt room on their website) for two people that don't want to share a bed, it would make things easier on everyone to mention that desire in the...

This B & B is a 15 min walk to Napoli Centrale and a 15 min walk to Molo Beverello. The room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. We did not pay extra for the breakfast because there are many cafes nearby.| The elevator broke down at least twice during our 4. night stay. One incident was while my son and I were inside. We pressed the alarm button, but no one came. I started yelling for help, as we did not have cell service inside. Fortunately, someone heard me and was able to get in touch with the B & B host. She shut down the elevator and turned it on again. Other than this incident, we enjoyed our stay...
