Elegance! From an architectural point of view, Palermo is a ravishing beauty. However, due to mass tourism... not exactly blessed with stylish, elegant restaurants or bars in the centre of the old town, which is - unfortunately - flooded with fast food outlets that smell of rancid deep-fried fat. Gourmet grocery with great prices, ended up doing most of my pantry staples shopping here to take back home with me as i didn’t have time to go to the normal grocery. They also had very unique products which i didn’t see much elsewhere in the city.

We ended up also having a sandwich and a meal here which was great! Generally happy with our orders- roast beef sandwich, caesar salad and breaded veal (could be improved, better crunch and breading). Though would have wanted to try the charcuterie board given the chance. Would...

This restaurant is perfect for an evening meal in the centre of Palermo. You could easily walk past without realising that, above the ground floor quality food shop, there is a super restaurant upstairs.

We ate there twice because it was so good and such good value too. The ambience is perfect and the noise level is nice and low, due to high ceilings and no overcrowding. The staff are polite, friendly and attentive.
