Amazing! Family owned with generations of experience and it shows. The reception is located at the first shuttle/bus stop of the main road into Positano, which we came to realize was a huge benefit. We were travelling with large suitcases and didn’t have to lug it all the way down the stairs just to check in. The best part of this stay was the staff, by far. They were always prompt over WhatsApp or email prior to the trip when booking/ with inquiries. They were also amazing during our stay. They showed us to our room, explained where everything was and provided a map of the entire town with recommendations for excursions/dinner spots, along with quick tips for navigating the hundreds of stairs in the city. They really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. The room was newly remodelled, clean and had an amazing view from up high in the cliff; the balcony was also private. Breakfast was included, which had an amazing view of the coast as well. Only downside is the bathroom was small with the sink being located in the shower area… to be expected with old historic buildings like these - we made it work! Would definitely recommend this place without any hesitation!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The room was small but very clean and well maintained. The rooms are a bit older but it’s very charming and the view from our balcony was so incredible. The breakfast had a very nice selection of options with cappuccinos and coffee. the breakfast area also overlooked the ocean. The bed was not as comfortable as I would like but they had extra pillows which was nice. The bathroom was larger than I expected and the air conditioner worked very well. It was about a 15-20 minute walk downhill to the bottom of the city center, or you can take about 400+ steps directly down. Positano is all about walking and stairs so that should be expected probably anywhere you stay. There’s several nice restaurants right around the corner from the hotel and a bus stop at the top of the street if you don’t want to walk. The staff was very helpful and informative. We will definitely stay here again in the future! Thank you for the amazing stay!

This was a beautiful B&B to stay at. Rooms were so pretty - we had the triple with a terrace with a table and chairs, as well as lounge chairs with a view of the sea. Breakfast was great with many options- bread, toaster, croissants, little donuts and pastries, cake, pancakes, eggs to hard boil, cheese, ham, juices, and they also made the guests an espresso coffee. AC was controlled by the guest (we stayed at other places where it was centrally controlled) so this was so wonderful. It's a bit of a walk up from the wharf so prepare to stretch your legs. Hire the porters to take your bags to and from, it's worth it. Not too much of a walk to the closest beach but there's a lot of steps involved. Shower was on the small side for any guests who might be on the larger side. My favourite accommodation in Italy so far, would stay here again.

One of the best experiences we’ve had yet. This is an establishment that really focuses in taking pride in their establishment, and in making sure that you as well as everyone else are welcomed. The location was a little hard to find originally. Yet, they were very gracious in explaining how to find them when I did call. Further, they gave us a wonderful welcome when we did actually arrived. And, we were introduced to a nice room with an outside patio with a beautiful view. The location was perfect since it was far enough away from the downtown hustle and bustle. Yet, not too far to walk to the small downtown area. And the walk down the winding streets is such an memorable experience during the day and during the night. The location offered wonderful views and great restaurant options nearby. Plus, the steps down to the beach was perfect since that particular beach is more secluded from all the crowds. Casa Guadango also provides beach towels, which is nice. Finally, the upstairs guest dining area with breakfast was absolutely amazing. The food and refreshments was perfect, as well as, the views! This is an establishment that pays attention to the small little touches that make you feel genuinely welcomed. You won’t regret staying at...

I had a great experience staying at Casa Guadagno! Everything was seamless and easy from start to finish. Upon arrival, the hotel will contact you for information on how you plan to arrive and the best recommended option when getting to the hotel. The staff was very friendly and showed us all of the hot spots in the area, as well as how to get around so we avoid all of the steps! The location was great - not too high up that you kept taking stairs. Pretty close to the main road and bus stop so you can get everywhere easily. Our room was in the annex, which is just right the corner from the front desk. We had a spacious room with a beautiful patio that had an amazing view of the town/ocean. Bathrooms were decent size and had no concerns with noise. Breakfast in the morning was solid with your pastries, meats and cheeses. I brought a plate back to our room to enjoy. When checking out, they booked a car to take me back to Naples. Overall, i would highly recommend this hotel - it’s a steal...
