BB Navona First — Hotel in Rome

My sister and I chose this residence because it was inexpensive and the location was amazing. It’s steps away from Campo de’ Fiore, bars and restaurants. Although a bit of a hike, we walked everywhere from the Vatican to the Colosseum. Trastevere was only a few minutes walk and we had dinner there several nights during our stay. I’d agree with all of the other reviews about the excellent location. The room is in a residence, not a hotel. If you are looking for a 24/7 hotel feel this is not the place for you. The room was on the second floor (no lift), but Flavio, the caretaker kindly carried our bags up upon arrival. Our room was small with an adequate private toilet and shower. It had a lovely window that opened out onto the street. The room was cleaned very well each day and all of our questions were answered by Flavio. He ordered us a taxi and helped with orienting us. The small main area had a small refrigerator (we never used it), an espresso machine and a microwave. The room was very confortable, clean and we had a great stay. The position in the city is great, we didn't need public transportation at all, it was possible to visit everything by walking. Flavio is a very nice person, everyday he is there to clean the room if is needed or to help and I want to thank him. In the reception of the apartment there are always available some cookies, sweets, coffee, tea, water and Flavio is always careful to fulfill everything when is empty. In the room 5, you don't have a view outside (this could be good because is not any noise from the street), but you can't see on the window how is the weather outside and the sun light is very low. For us it wasn't a problem, but if there are any persons with some claustrophobic problems, maybe is better to ask for...

Just returned from these great apartments. Transfer was arranged through Gian Luca and it all went like clockwork. We were met at the hotel about 10pm and had to pay for late check in but this wasn't a problem. The rooms are lovely In think there is only 5 of them on one floor. The reception has 24hr access to hot and cold water snacks and tea and coffee. The location just off campo de fiori with loads of bars and restaurants in fact the location is perfect for visiting all the sites on foot. Are return transfer to the airport wasn't until 7pm so Gian Luca arranged for us to have keys for the doors to leave our luggage until our pick up. A great stay in a...
