I recently had the pleasure of visiting a Leonardo da Vinci museum dedicated to showcasing his ingenious machines and inventions, and I must say it was an awe-inspiring experience. The museum provided a captivating glimpse into the brilliant mind of one of history's greatest engineers.
Upon entering, I was greeted by an impressive display of Leonardo's machines, meticulously crafted to replicate his original designs. From the intricate gears of his flying machines to the intricacies of his anatomical studies, every exhibit exuded a sense of craftsmanship and innovation.
What truly amazed me was the breadth of Leonardo's vision. His machines spanned various fields, including engineering, art, and anatomy. Read moreThis is a good museum, especially if you are interested in the inventions of Leonardo and in science.
If you are more interested in the masterpieces (art), I would say that this is not the museum to go to.
I would not recommend the audioguide at all: they did not hire professionals, so the voices you hear are people who don't really understand what they are saying and they are not enthusiastic all (I heard it in French and in English and I got bored very rapidly). Otherwise, the staff is very friendly, the museum is not too big. You can spend between 1 to 2 hours in it depending on...
Read moreThis was touted as being excellent for kids. It has only 6 rooms of replicas inventions of leonardo da Vinci. Some are impressive like the tank or his floating devices. But most you cannot touch except for one room with some of the most boring of his inventions in it. The only real activity for kids was building a bridge with sticks that they did enjoy. The audio guide literally reads all the signs in a huge dumb of information one audio per room. Unless you can’t read I wouldn’t recommend getting the audio guide. You need it in smaller pieces of information based on each thing you look at. They should add more numbers per item for the audio guide. It’s also very short. I will not be recommending...
