We loved being able to explore the city on foot and then return to such a peaceful, elegant space at the end of the day.

My wife and I stayed here for a summer holiday and we cannot speak highly enough of the hotel and the staff.

The hotel is perfectly appointed with luxurious comfortable rooms. The decor is beautiful and calming, the bed is very comfortable, the air conditioning was effective, the mini bar was stocked with complementary items and the bathrooms were the best we experienced throughout Europe.

The hotel manager Gregorio was simply the best hotel manager I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was a comfortable one. Gregorio even went to the extent of personally chauffeuring us to the train station at the end of our trip due to a taxi strike that was happening in the city.

The problem is this. I booked for 2 people and expedia sent you one person. I cant prove it because expedia does not put the number of people in the confirmation . I have booked over a thousand hotels in the last 45 years and this is the first time this has ever happened. I did goes back and try to book again on the expedia app and the price difference was only $30 but you charged me $50. How did my wife in the room cost you $50 when you dont even provide breakfast. You were out absolutely $0 .How is that fair ? The reason for 3 stars is for not trying to understand my side and saying your rules are your rules....
