My husband and I stayed at Hotel Chapter Roma for three nights during our recent trip to Rome. We stayed in Room 210. The rooms were very clean, had a chic interior, and housekeeping came by twice a day (one time in the morning and another in the evening for a "turn down service.") The staff at the front desk was also extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful. I especially liked that they were able to order a cab for you at any time of the day (we took one at 6:30 AM to the Vatican City without any issue) and that taxi was guaranteed to accept credit cards (not all white metered taxis in Rome do!).

The reason for the four star rating is that we felt a couple things were missing in a typical four star hotel. First, Room 210 was facing the front and the noise pollution was a big concern. I wear ear plugs to sleep and I could still hear everything from the street which included people, cars, as well as the light rail. The windows were not double paned, but very thin and allowed pretty much all the noise pollution to leak through. They also didn't shut all the way which meant the cold air in the morning crept in. I think the hotel should consider replacing the exterior room windows to address this. Secondly, in relation to the windows, there was only one layer of curtains to cover the windows which meant either forego sunlight all together for privacy, or keep it open but risk people seeing you. Usually hotel windows have a thin white semi-opaque curtain in addition to blackout curtains to solve this issue. Thirdly, there were no tissues in the room which we felt was odd. Fourth, while the toiletries (shampoo/conditioner & body wash) were amazing, body lotion was conspicuously missing. Lastly, you open your room using keys instead of keycards which is fine. But the keys are attached to this beautiful but albeit huge heavy brass keychain. We had to carry the heavy keychain around with us during the entire trip. Despite the keychain being beautiful, it's impractical for travelers. Perhaps the hotel should consider replacing the keychains to something lighter?

Despite all of the above concerns, I would consider staying at Chapter Roma again because the location was great. But I would only consider doing so if I was guaranteed a room in the interior away from the...

A Truly Exceptional Stay!! Thanks to Sofia and the Team! 😻😻😻

From the moment we arrived, our experience was nothing short of incredible. Sofia is an absolute gem, so passionate about her role and deeply committed to creating an unforgettable experience for guests. She guided us to the best local restaurants and coffee spots, and made us feel so genuinely welcomed. The attention to detail was honestly next level.

My friend was already at the hotel, and Sofia knew I’d be arriving around 5:30pm. Without being asked, she had hot water with lemon (my favorite!), along with canapés and sparkling wine sent up for my friend to enjoy while waiting. That kind of thoughtful gesture speaks volumes.

Breakfast was 10/10. Everything was fresh and delicious, the sourdough bread, mozzarella with freshly cut tomatoes, and the perfectly boiled eggs were highlights. The team at the breakfast area were also incredibly kind and attentive, setting a beautiful tone for the mornings.

Even a simple moment stood out: I went to use the restroom on the -1 floor and noticed there was no soap. A kind gentleman, part of the maintenance team, immediately ran off to get some. Not only that, he waited for me to finish and held the door open afterwards. You just don’t get that kind of sincere care in many places.

This hotel doesn’t operate on tips like other places I’ve stayed at; the staff are just genuinely lovely people who care. I truly wish I had cash on me to thank them properly, because they deserved every bit of it.

Highly recommend this place- the location is stunning!!! It’s just like in the movies, it’s not just any hotel, it’s a heartfelt experience, thanks especially to Sofia and the wonderful...

My team was on a trip to Rome and we loved the initial look of Chapter Roma. After a few emails with Eleanora Zamagni, we decided to go ahead and book the 24 rooms. This was quite a big trip for us as we had colleagues and clients meeting together from all over Europe, and the U.S.A.

Initially Eleanora put my mind at complete ease with the help of organising the rooms for everyone, which was quite complicated as everyone was arriving on different dates and times. I arrived early and Giorgia Ranucci was there to help me with everything. From complicated logistics in making sure I could leave gift items in the guests rooms, helping me manage the additional expenses in the hotel, bar bill, and everything else in between.

We were working in the bar area for a lot of the week so Giorgia was always around to help make everything comfortable. We even needed to source some specific stationery items for meetings and arrange a few last minute dinners for approximately 30 people, organise complicated dietary requirements both inside and outside the hotel, and Giorgia was always so helpful. Even down to translating into Italian for me, recommendations and general availability at all times.

The team in Chapter Roma is fantastic and the running of the hotel is extremely smooth. The service from Eleanora, Giorgia and many other team members (that I didn't get names of) was fantastic. They really made the stay wonderful for everyone.

If I need to recommend anywhere to stay in Rome for friends, colleagues, or family, I will be sure to recommend Chapter Roma. I hope to visit your beautiful hotel and the wonderful team...

A stylish and well located hotel. We stayed here for 4 nights during a long weekend in Rome. Pro’s: - Our room and its styling were great. The room was huge and had lots of windows. The decor was great. - The rain shower was powerful and great. - Location - the hotel was really well situated and we enjoyed walking to most of the sites. It’s also close to bus stops to go further afield. - Friendly staff throughout the hotel. Cons: - The bed was rock hard. I appreciate that this is a personal preference but I slept awfully here. - Noise - you could hear stuff happening downstairs in the reception from our room. - The breakfast. Definitely not worth €18 euros, the pastries were good and that was about it. I have no issue with a small menu, but the eggs were never done well. Don’t waste your money. - No coffee machine or complimentary water. Instead they have spirits bottles for you to purchase in the room. Judging by the state of the labels, no one has purchased them yet. - On the Friday evening a staff member stopped by our room to give us a shot and invited us downstairs to the bar as they said there were having some event. We stopped by at the bar for a drink later on but another staff member told us they were fully booked. I was not sure what to make of the situation. - The reception area and the lifts had a distinct odour of sewage. Overall aesthetically the hotel is nice and done up to a good standard. However, I was expecting slightly more. We were debating whether to stay here or the Hoxton and frankly should have gone with the Hoxton.

I had a Loft room Dec’21. OVERALL: nice modern loft studio design, but noisy all-around and subpar cleaning service, all a bit design > substance. LOCATION: a good middle-ground location - 20min to Termini or 10min to city center, a bit removed but there’s plenty around INTERIOR: beautiful furnishings, retro modern, fun to be in; room was big and spacious COMFORT: not even complimentary water upon arrival, always gives me a bad first impression after arriving from a usually long plane trip…room was very, very noisy at night: street noise, and next door were party people or a club or so, having loud music on well into the late night (I had to take a sleeping pill). CLEANLINESS: on day 2 I didn’t get a new bathmat towel, instead just a third towel I had to spread over the floor; the towel I took off the shelf had quite visible, big black stains on it from some black metal pipe or so; clearly also didn’t really clean because when I came back after service I remembered the pen and notepad had fallen from the bedside table at night but it wasn’t picked up when I returned, meaning they didn’t even clean the floor at all. FOOD: breakfast was very big, for those who value quantity satisfaction is guaranteed; quality-wise it’s nothing special - but the staff were very friendly and helpful in getting you what you want for breakfast from the available choices. STAFF: very friendly, very nice check-in, breakfast staff were always very nice and helpful
