Summary: Bed bugs, dont book here due to risk and neglence of management to clean this professionally. If you take bed bugs home you will have more cost or cost of relocation to other hotel which will cost more money and time. Bad location not easy accessible. Not worth 4 stars. Booking 12 july -19 july 2024 only stayed 2 days. Then fully refunded due to bed bugs. This hotel is really bad dont book here. We had bed bugs and there are also other reviews saying it has bed bugs. Please note that if you stay here and you take bed bugs home you spend ways more money to have it professionally removed. The hotel management is neglecting it guests by not properly and professionally taking care of this bed bug problem. They know it since there are more reviews about bed bugs here. When we wanted to check in at check in time 14.00 they mentioned it was later due to a guest late check out. But I think that not true since a late check out should not affect the check in time. Then when we were waiting at the reception we saw all the staff running with the new bed linnings, for me indicating there is something off. In the reviews I had read that there were bed bugs so I was hoping it will be properly cleaned and maybe professionally removed. But when we stayed the first night we saw some blood stains and thought maybe she scratched herself. But the second night my t shirt was covered with bed bugs blood stains. So we checked and found 2 bed bugs. On dead on the bed and one still a live. We called the reception and the management wouldnt talk to us only talked through the receptionist (this is bad customer service) that we would get full refund and they can help us to find another hotel. But the thing is that all prices are much higher since its high season. so we ended up with higher costs. The way you see that the management is also neglecting and delusional is that on all the bad reviews they react with "we are perplexed" "left us utterly in silence" I think its better to do something and change it instead of being in silence. To the staff working there, which were quite friendly, if you dont agree with your management and if its against your principles, it's ok to look else where since you should work for a company which you feel it's aligned with your values. My hope with this review the management of the hotel will start to take it seriously and professionally clean the bed bugs issue since it can also go to other rooms. So the entire hotel should be inspected and cleaned. They might need to close a few days but better than negligence and causing extra costs on your guest who provide you with business. This is otherwise bad business and you dont need to be a very smart person to see that there would be no future.

DO NOT STAY HERE. My friend invited me on a trip with her to Rome and she had booked this hotel well in advance. Unfortunately she had made this reservation well in advance and did not see the terrible reviews they’ve been receiving as of late. My friend booked a superior room with a balcony and the room smelled like cigarette smoke and the AC did not work. When we asked to be moved they said the only other room that was a superior was “under construction”. This was never communicated and I had a great time being woken up at 7 AM with construction noise above us. When we complained the girl at the front said that “they usually wait until everyone wakes up to start”. Strange because I was not awake at 7 AM. Management is NEVER at this hotel. So do not book a non refundable room because no matter the issue no one will reach out to you or help resolve it. Unfortunately front desk is not equipped to deal with these issues and yet management is never available. Pretty shady tactics used by these people. I would not book here if I were you. I usually try not to be too critical but the only person that was truly helpful was a front desk named Rolando. However he is limited to what he can do. We were eventually moved to a regular room however it’s been days since we checked in and a manager has not refunded us the difference for the room rates. Very sketchy. There is a supervisor that we spoke to and he literally laughed in our face when we asked for a refund. I have him on video admitting to it however it is too long to post here. There’s so many hotels to choose from my suggestion is to stay far far away. If you’ve already booked, try to cancel. At this point this stay will be disputed through the bank since the manager/ owner is supposedly on vacation and not answering calls. Don’t think that’s true which is why I am suggesting anyone to stay far away. Edit: I’m editing this review just to highlight the fact that this hotel has a large number of 1-2 star reviews and the managers response is always in some way calling the reviewer a liar. It’s actually hilarious if you look through their responses. Also we were assigned the balcony rooms the first night and one had a broken AC and the other smelled like cigarette smoke. Regardless of your policy there are guests who will smoke and that is your responsibility as a manager to check these rooms and charge those guests for damaging the room in that way. Not ignore it and stick the next person in there and then call them a liar when they’re dissatisfied. The rest of our stay we were assigned to rooms that did not fit the booking because the other balcony rooms were “under construction”. Have the life you deserve ✌🏼

Cute hotel for a 5 day visit in Rome. The entrance is a bit hard to find as it’s located in a small alleyway. This was a great base for our stay, and it’s close to many tourist attractions such as the Vatican City, St. Peter’s Basilica, so many things to do are in walking distance. When booking the hotel, you have the option with or without breakfast. We opted not to, but they provide a breakfast bar with for 15 euros per person. The room itself was clean and neat, and room service was good with daily refreshening of towels, bed sheets and toiletries (shampoo, bar soap, shower cap, shoe sponge, water cups). Cabinets in bedroom include a safe for valuable items. The staff were all friendly, accommodating, and spoke great English. They offer airport pick up, which we chose for 60 euros in cash. We had a flight delay resulting in a late arrival, and the hotel rearranged the transportation accordingly when notified of delay. Staff also helped book a taxi to the airport. It took about 5 minutes to arrive after ordering and cost 50 euros (fixed price to airport across Rome). Luggage storage is available for free if you plan on leaving the city past the check out time (11 am). One thing to note is that you must pay a tourist tax, which is 6 euros per day per person in cash at checkout. Not sure if this is a standard across all hotels, but I wasn’t aware of this when booking. Great experience and would recommend!

This hotel has exceeded my expectations for how badly a hotel can be run. We booked our rooms over a year ago after extensive research and this place had good reviews, so we went for it. This hotel experience has been bad enough for us to consider ending the trip early. We got the superior balcony rooms and they ushered us into the “old” section of the hotel, so not one that was photographed on the website, meaning this room was a shock to see. The room smelled of cigarettes (like the carpet and the bedding and the drapes) and the air conditioner did not work the ENTIRE night, our thermostat said it was set to 19 degree Celsius, but never made it down past 75-78 degrees Fahrenheit. We communicated this frustration and frank disappointment to the front desk, it wasn’t a room we picked off the website and the one that was given smelled and was hot, but also right in a construction zone that began work at 7:30AM. The front desk and supervisor who spoke with us on the phone could not have been less helpful, the supervisor laughed loudly at me and said “I don’t know what they do in your country” and “you have all the problems in the world” and “go find somewhere else then”. The front desk just kept saying there’s nothing she can do and to deal with it, and maybe the manager would be back on site in 48 hours to assist, but no promises. They moved us to another room after much protest as they saw fit to keep our money despite all the issues that were on the hotel side of things, but the new room still has severe air conditioning issues. You can find 100 other hotels in the city with better management and better rooms than this, don’t book here, and definitely don’t stay in room 303. This is our 4th time staying in Rome, but the 1st time any of this is happening to us. Save yourself the money and...
