Be very careful to always ask them for a bill with a clear breakdown.

These people charged me 10 euros instead of 6 for two americanos.

When I asked them why they did so, the lady at the counter was very uncomfortable and started to make prices up: she first said that a decaf American was 1 more euro (no where this is stipulated in the menu). But ok let’s give them the benefit of the doubt, it would bring the total to 7 right? “Oh but sir, we charge one euro for each person for the service” ok again, not written anywhere but let’s say that’s true, it would bring it to 9 then, why 10? “Oh sorry sir here’s your one euro back”.

In summary, these people won’t give you a breakdown and bill, they will handwrite the check in a piece of paper and when it comes to paying they will over charge you. They treat tourists with disrespect and scam them as well as the municipality.

Well, it seems like they just scammed themselves too as they just got paid a few more euros for a bad...

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. The sign out the front indicated “any first course meal OF YOUR CHOICE and soft drink for 7.90€”, which my girlfriend and I thought was a good price. We were also told there was no cover charge. Upon going to pay, we were quoted 27€, which is a big step up from the 15.80€ which we first thought. The staff were rude and said that the deal only included “some” menu items, which are not indicated. We finally managed to get the meal down to 23€ (still charged a cover fee?) before leaving. Also this place serves frozen pasta, which they actually put on their menu (which is surprising for people who seem to like to hide and cheat things).

TLDR: Overcharged, falls advertising and a workplace which are either a) bad at maths or b) often overcharge their customers, and love to serve frozen...

Avoid this place,,we have visited this place last month, June ,the food was made from boxes,,disgusting, we saw the lady heating the boxes in the microwave, I couldn't believe it, I saw the lady licking her fingers after moved the food to the plate, you can see the operation from the mirror, after was heated/hot they put in to the plate, looks great but is from box, pre-cooked, this is not fresh, lot of grease. very disappointed seeing this type of service in ROME, one of the best places to visit in the world. The offers at the front door is fake, later they will find the way to overcharge you, at the end prices are high for this type of cafeteria, this is not a restaurant, has a very poor class....
