THE WORST “MANAGER” TO DATE!!! |Giovanni is a liar!! I am absolutely RAGING! We couldn’t stay at this property after an infestation of ants were in our room, reading through other reviews this is not the first time this has happened nor is it the first time Giovanni has presented scamming lies. He has twisted our review on Booking.com into making it appear we are ‘after money’. No, we were just in fact after a place to stay that was clean and had good customer service. Granted, yes we did have half a packet of Fonzies (they are the best) which by the way is 100g) which I left in the BIN after we had left the room (not after 2hrs as Giovanni describes (I wonder how he has proof of this?- laughable!) Giovanni then said (this is hysterical) that we ate 2kilos of snacks and tipped them on the bed. I am an adult why would I do this? LIE LIE LIE. This is besides the point, families with children couples should be allowed to have snacks and drinks in their own room as long as they are disposed of correctly (like I did, in a bin). The receptionist showed us a photograph on his phone of the crisps in the bin, again proof we disposed correctly. This review may seem trivial to some, but the ants were everywhere and there was no way I was sleeping on a bed when they were crawling all over the bedside table, all ant powder on the walls which shows there is an issue in this room. But mostly, I am DISGUSTED at Giovanni’s response to our review, he promised me a refund when I called him on the phone, he verbally confirmed a refund to Booking.com but has now gone back on his words. I honestly can’t get my head around how someone can lie and make up such garbage in response to the truth! I have attached his response to our initial review- would you want to stay somewhere were you get talked to like this? ||Not me. Not us. Not ever again. ||We will be reporting this issue and Giovanni’s scamming ways higher and will not stop until we a solution/compensation. If I don’t then this will happen again and again to tourists visiting this establishment. ||I wish I could upload a video of the crawling- it was disgusting...

Stayed here just a week or so ago. The location is roughly within a 30-35 min walk from everything(Meaning most major attractions which is a major plus for the novice hikers and peeps who just wish to walk to their locations. ||||The room is very nice and the high ceilings make it even more spacious. I have to be honest it loses a star on my review only because there were a few mosquitoes in the room and me and the Mrs took a bite or three each. Nothing crazy just a few buzzing around we were able to swat most if not all of them towards the end of our stay and all was well(Could have complained but we were way too busy enjoying our vacation). The shower was an interesting touch and flowed well with the room design. Beds were comfy not too firm. All in all a very nice stay. ||||Ok here are a few tips:||||- the place is not marked. So when first getting there by taxi or even opting for their transportation service keep this in mind. The door is huge lighter shade of brown with golden like door handles(uh the things you use to knock for some reason the name slips the mind). Prolly a really good idea to enable your international data and service plan to help finding it(A VERY GOOD IDEA FOR CITY NAVIGATION)||||- the actual place is on the second floor(mind you the format there is 0-1-2 so on). The elevator will get your luggage up and maybe one more person but that’s it. Two people can barely fit. Wanna have fun.. pile in. Otherwise take the stairs. Door is to the right and usually closed. ||||- be careful in the shower. It looks pretty cool but you may break your butt if your not careful. It tends to get slippery when wet. ||||I would definitely stay here again. A great experience made for a great...

Left this place with a sad experience. Stayed here 2 nights and 3 days. Place is very quiet and conveniently walkable blocks from spanish steps. The loft in the room with a convertible bed helped my 3rd member of the family get a private space. However room had lots of ants!! our room was close to break fast area. I found myself cleaning the room 5 am in the morning. Did not make a fuss as i was leaving. Bathroom is nice but it opened to the bed, kind of odd and less hygienic for a stay ( for my preference especially as bathrooms has no ventilation. The ottoman in the room was broken. Last day of the stay - i was stuck in a tour and was 30 mts late to check out . Called the owner and he made a big deal of the 30 mts delay( guests coming in, lots of cleaning etc ) . The entire 3 day i stayed there were a total of 3 families including mine and place was not a top pick for anyone. Now the horrible part is rome was 101 that day and as i returned went to kitchen to take some water for myself and my kid. A Lady ( seeing her for the first time ), popped in and repeatedly told me that breakfast is closed. I told her that i am only taking water and she raised her voice suggesting - sorry its closed. She understood and spoke english, so it is not that she misunderstood me asking for breakfast. Can't believe a hotel refusing some water from the kitchen and not sure how much money she saved. I did not even had breakfast that day as i went for my tour by 7:00. I am sure these type of people are disgrace for hotel and customer service. My 2.5 weeks stay in Italy, i stayed 5 hotels and this is the only bad experience i had in terms...
