Relais Villa Coppedè — Hotel in Rome

The room was large, incredibly comfortable beds. Only issues include the fact a kettle is supplied, its a 2 pin european plug, the room was all 3 pin italian/european plugs, so we were unable to use the kettle. |There is no bin in the room. We had to make our own bin, the room is clean but I dont think rooms are cleaned while we were there. |The breakfast was okay. It was definitely over priced for what it was. Excellent location, but if you stay on 1st floor - you have strong smell of sewer.room is very minimalistic and would serve purpose if you would not inhale strong smell of sewer. When you ask front desk - they are trying to fix this smell. It’s little bit better in the evening, but in the morning smell is very strong. I was asking to be moved to higher floor, but they said that it’s normal to inhale this smell because in Roma it’s normal. Inside of shower you can see mold. Avendo prenotato un hotel a 3 stelle siamo arrivati sul posto e abbiamo trovato una quarta stella, che ha comportato una tassa di soggiorno da 7.50€ a persona a notte. In ogni caso, il nostro soggiorno non merita neanche 3 stelle: camera a piano terra di fianco alla reception con conseguenti schiamazzi dalle 9 del mattino in poi (essendo weekend speravamo di riposare un po’ di più); Durante la notte non c’è nessun controllo sugli accessi alla struttura. Infatti alle 4 AM di sabato notte siamo dovuti intervenire più volte per far allontanare dalla saletta di ingresso adiacente alla nostra stanza almeno 10 persone vestite a festa che urlavano e bivaccano sui divanetti (probabilmente lasciati entrare da qualche ospite che avendo la camera al piano superiore non immaginava che ci fosse qualcuno a dormire di fianco alla reception) la sera prima del check-out (inspiegabilmente previsto alle ore 10 AM) abbiamo richiesto espressamente la possibilità di un check out posticipato e c’era stato accordato senza problemi dall’hotel manager. Risultato? Alle ore 10.30, dopo aver bussato insistentemente mentre dormivamo, il personale di servizio ci è entrato in camera richiedendo urlando l'orario e lasciando intendere che avremmo dovuto liberare la camera. da ultimo, mancano tutti gli standard minimi di accoglienza che ci si aspetta da un hotel 3 stelle (figuriamoci 4...): non una bottiglietta d'acqua in camera, nessuno presente alla reception quando abbiamo fatto il check-out e avremmo voluto esporre le nostre lamentele, il personale di servizio che evidentemente non parla inglese e poco italiano.
