We stayed here for 2 nights. Rooms is very basic, but ok. Pictures in the website shows a very nice looking shower, but in fact, we got a very terrible toilet in room 6.||||The biggest problem is the toilet. The shower box is very small. So small that you can't move in the shower box without hitting the shower wall. What makes it worst is the shower head adapter is also broken, it won't stay in a fixed position. The shower door leaks, so after a shower, the toilet floor becomes very wet.||||In a very small toilet space, they fitted a toilet bowl and a bidet. When you sit down on the toilet bowl, your knee pressed against the shower box.||||On top of these major problems, the hair dryer does not work, there is not space to hang your towel. Its a perfect storm when it comes to the shower.||||We paid 100 Euros for a room for 3 without breakfast. Other better hotels are charging 140 Euros with breakfast. Even when this hotel is cheapest in booking.com, it is not good value for money. We won't stay in this hotel again. ||||Our advice is to ask the hotel about the toilet before you confirm the booking. I have read other reviews as far back as 2014, they had wrote and informed the hotel owners, but it seems they do not want to know about the toilet. ||||On the bring side, the hotel staff was very friendly. Bed is quite comfortable. Everything else is basic,...
Read moreWe enjoyed our stay at Hotel Linda! The hosts were very lovely and always available for help—I asked for ice and a wine opener and was helped with the items in their personal kitchen :) Everything was clean and comfortable. The rooms were cleaned each day and beds were made. The train and bus stations are a very short 4-5 min walk. Also a short walk from the city center and plenty of convenient stores and restaurants nearby. There is also a great street food restaurant nearby that serves cheap arancini. Overall, a great stay for our group at a typical Italian accommodation at an affordable price in Sorrento!
Pros: -great hosts -safe building with elevator for luggage -clean and comfortable -affordable -easy check in process -can leave key at the desk—no stress of carrying around each day
Cons: -smaller rooms (typical Italian accommodations) -shower was small and tricky to maneuver -did not have a fridge or microwave, nor a problem for us as we enjoyed the local...
Read moreThis hotel is well located being close to the train and bus stations making exploring the Amalfi Coast easy. Not all staff speak English, but are nevertheless extremely helpful and pleasant. When we booked we were under the impression that our quadruple room would be serviced. Instead we were given an apartment which wasn't (probably because we were four adults and the extra space would work best for us). The apartment was indeed very spacious, the air-conditioning worked well and the beds were comfortable. We had a balcony, a fully equipped kitchen and even a washing machine. There was a supermarket nearby and was only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Sorrento. There are also good and affordable restaurants close by. The apartment could have been cleaner in the bathroom and kitchen areas. WiFi worked fine. Given the cost of accommodation in Sorrento, this is a good hotel and would...
