We have just spent the last night of our 12 day Italian adventure in this adorable little place. We chose it based on the outstanding reviews, which are more than fully deserved - we have had the most wonderful evening! Insanely good homecooked food, we had the carbonara, ravioli AND picanha, and shared all the plates between the two of us. Simply delicious, so much flavour and very generous portions. The dishes are very cheap for the quality and quantity!
The best part of our evening was chatting with Gianluca and Pina (owner and chefs), the mother and son dream team, as we polished off THREE plates of Pina's joyous tiramisu! We were treated as family and felt so welcomed, true customer service at its best.
Trust the reviews, wait for a table (if you have to), you will not be disappointed. The place has been open only 6 months and we feel lucky to have eaten at this hidden gem.
Thank you so much Pina and Gianluca for a fabulous last night of our holiday. Love Emma...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBy far the best value meals I had during my entire stay in Sorrento. I actually donāt understand why or how they can sell such great quality freshly cooked food for the prices they do; but Iām not complaining! I actually ate here multiple times!
My wife always got the seafood pasta, which contains generous amounts of prawns, calamari, and clams. And I think at the time of writing it was something like ā¬10-ā¬12 for a bowl she couldnāt even finish! We went to multiple other restaurants in Sorrento where you couldnāt even get a starter for that!
Not only is the food excellent, but the staff are all super friendly and genuinely kind people. I truly wish them all nothing but the best.
Please donāt be fooled when you walk past and see it only has 2 tables which are both on the street. If you are anywhere near Sorrento and want good food, great service, big portions and excellent value then this place is definitely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is such a fantastic spot to visit in Sorrento. The people working there are so friendly and welcoming, explaining the menu items to me. When I visited it was an older gentleman and a younger man who was serving in the store, both of them were very nice. It is definitely an authentic spot and not a tourist trap. The dishes are so affordable (every other restaurant in Sorrento has charged double the price for the gnocchi) and delicious. I loved the gnocchi it was so tasty, and the picanha was super delicious too (I had never tried this dish before and I enjoyed it a lot). I have to say the portion sizes were incredibly generous and I loved this meal so much. There were also other things on the menu I would have wanted to try like the carbonara. If I lived in Sorrento I would come...
