I would absolutely come back to Taormina Park Hotel anyday. Close walk to the main area of town, right by the gardens, and it has an incredible view of Mt. Etna right on your balcony. (also the breakfest buffet šŸ˜‹ and the pool ... and parking!!). You wont find a place better stay at these prices. . #taormina #sicily #italy #italysummer #travel #traveltiktok #hotel #CapCut

Great location, great views, lovely room cleaning staff, especially Gisele. We came for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. 1. Accomodating. The hotel accommodated our request to add another bed/person to our booking, which they did with no problem, which was amazing and appreciated. 2. Little dated. As other reviews have mentioned, the rooms and hotel are a little dated, but if you don't mind this, don't let that full you as everything was cleaned and otherwise well looked after. 3. Accommodating. After check out at 11am, we were able to still use the facilities and showers located on the 1st floor, which is super great as we had to then take the bus to the airport for a 9pm flight. This was super great as we were able to make the most of our holiday. 4. Location was the best. You have the amazing park which you can take as a route to the centre where all the restaurants, shops and Teatre is located and you have beautiful views witin the park. You can also walk up to viewpoint that overlooks Isobella beach, take the stairs down to the beach (666 steps down (or up) and quite hot in the heat) and you can take the cable cart too, and you are 9min walk from the bus terminal. All from this hotel. 5. 90% of staff were friendly, which is lovely. However, we did come across a few situations where we felt a little awkward, but we blamed it on the language barrier. To mentioned one, the young lady at the reception appeared not too bothered when we asked about the arrangements to the beach transfer. However, after us asking if she was feeling okay, she seemed more helpful. For the price you pay, it's an amazing bargain and we had a lovely stay with Taormina Park Hotel.

I really don’t know why other people have moaned so much on the reviews. I was just completely spellbound by the architecture of the hotel building and the interiors paired with the stunning panoramic view that ranges from etna mountain, Taormina town and the shoreline, maybe I don’t get out much but this kept my spirits so high that I had such an amazing trip. I stayed in the deluxe room which has been newly built so maybe I had an advantage because my room was new, clean and had everything I needed. It didn’t have a seaview but when I opened my curtains I could see blossom and mountain range. I also just drank the tap water as Italy has the best tap water in the world - I’m still here to tell the tale! :) The staff were friendly and spoke English, helping me whenever I needed it. The breakfast was tasty, the scrambled eggs were cooked well, the continental was minimal but I had fresh tomatoes with olive oil drizzled over it and fresh bread one morning and yoghurt with peaches and chia seeds the next. Chocolate croissant was nice and plenty of Sicilian style baked goodies The location is just fabulous as you can walk 2 minutes to the Park, 5 minutes to the restaurants and 10 minutes to Greek Ampitheatre. If you come out of the hotel and turn left and carry on walking straight for 10 minutes you also reach the cable car which carries you all the way down to Isola Bella for €10 return (worth it)! And the bus stop which is 200m from the hotel takes you to and from the airport for €5 which you can purchase tickets online via omio and have a digital QR code ticket. I’ll never forget this trip, thank you Taormina Park Hotel

We were a little anxious when booking this hotel based on some of the reviews but we were instantly relieved as soon as arrived! It exceeded our expectations by the beautiful pool area and reception alone. ||The staff are pleasant and polite, (perhaps not as openly friendly as other hotels) but this didn’t faze us. Yes the hotel is a bit rough rough around the edges, but it’s also truly unlike anywhere we’ve stayed before and is perfectly authentic to its surroundings. ||Breakfast was lovely, every morning there were hot and cold choices, fresh scrambled eggs, prosciutto, yoghurts, cakes, even smoked salmon. It’s the same food every day but was healthy and delicious. Top tip: eat your breakfast inside due to nuisance pidgeons and wasps. The staff do their best to shoo the birds away but often they got the better of guests swopping food off plates, so don’t leave the table unattended or even slightly take your eye off your plate - this was an unfortunate part of the breakfast experience most mornings so we only did this once and then preferred to eat inside in peace. ||We chose the deluxe room and was delighted with the size of the bed and balcony! The only consideration is that these balcony's don’t have a roof so be aware there’s no shade. However the views of Etna and the city at night are spectacular. We could even hear opera playing from the local gardens one night. Very romantic, and so peaceful. ||A couple of things on the room: |- The aircon is incredibly loud, bring ear plugs if you like to sleep with it on ||- We did experience one issue where we lost our water supply in the room, this was fortunately resolved after a few hours, but it created a new problem where the toilet would continuously flush. This was very noisy throughout the night and took 2 days to resolve and the staff were quite laid back about this despite us reporting it twice, which was frustrating as it disrupted our sleep, but again can’t be helped for an older hotel.||- Spa facilities were out of service but the weather was so hot anyway we weren’t worried. We did jump in the jacuzzi briefly which is in a lovely tucked away spot. It was unfortunately very chlorine heavy and made our eyes sore so it was short lived. ||The pool area is so pretty and you’ll never need to worry about getting a sunbed, there are plenty and they have these fab little sunshades you can extend over the top of you - which you’ll definitely need if you go in July! Very hot. ||Toarmina and all its wonderul restaurants bars and shops are all within walking distance (some uphill so take water!) so location is perfect. You’ll find plenty to do and see - and eat! ||Late check out is available at a cost (€60 we were told) but instead there is a lovely shower on the 1st floor you can use right up until you leave, and you can leave your luggage in a side room and use the hotel facilities all day which was very kind of the staff. ||Overall, this is such a peaceful beautiful place to stay. If you have extremely high expectations on service and interiors etc, you’ll have to adjust them slightly and simply appreciate the hotel for all of its unique, laid back charm. ||Would most definitely recommend. Thanks...

I was completely charmed by this hotel and must have had an entirely different experience to the negative reviews. Here are some of the highlights for me:||- the style and location of the hotel are incredible. The building is beautiful if you want a taste of Italian style and you have a view of the coast and the mountain just from sitting at breakfast or whilst sunbathing (or from a Seaview room)||- the location is also fantastic. I jumped on the bus from the airport and it takes you practically right to the hotel (200 meters) and cost €6, or pay a taxi for €100! The bus whizzes along the sea and is part of the fun. As a solo traveler I enjoyed very much being able to come back to the hotel in the daytime if I had been out on an excursion in Taormina old town as it is right next to everything (5-10 minute walk)||- I stayed in room 115 in the new deluxe room, I had a massive double bed, Aircon that worked all the time keeping it cool and a walk in shower. My wardrobe lit up when I opened it and the charging ports had USB built in. I just drank the tap water and kept it in the fridge which was great. I also had a flat screen TV and I just watched my favourite shows on YouTube. The only comment was the pillow was too high for me.||- The pool is cleaned daily with a robotic machine that collects the dirt from the bottom. Maybe the comments from other reviews are from the out of season time or they have recently purchased this cleaning device - not sure. I didn’t use the sauna facilities but front desk said you could use them any time. ||- the staff were so friendly and helpful speaking great English. I think the bad reviews come from not understanding Sicilian culture - there is a wide spread attitude of laid back and relaxed nature to Sicilians and you have to lean into it! ||- the breakfast again was tasty serving hot scrambled eggs and ā€œbaconā€ (prosciutto) and then continental hams, cheese, tomato, yoghurt, fruit, bakery goods. There are a lot of cakes but again this is a reflection of Sicilian culture. They are known for cakes - try them! You can also have lunch here and I had a tomato pasta which hit the spot||- overall, I have never stayed in such a beautiful hotel with unmatchable views in such a convenient location so for me, it...

My 60th Birthday we chose The Park hotel for its views , and Old traditional look with the bonus of being so close to the centre. We were given a spacious room with a beautiful view over looking pool , sea and Etna The room was clean , but wall paper lifting on edges and could do with tidying up and a fresh paint job. But bed was comfortable and rooms were kept so clean and fresh towels everyday. Bathroom reasonable size , with a very powerful shower. But there were a few issues with pipe noise when toilet was flushed, and smells that weren't pleasant. We also woke up to a flooded floor one day with a leak from the ceiling, but this was sorted by the time we came back from being out during day. I was disappointed that we had no apology, or even the offer of a free drink . When we booked hotel they had asked if there's any special requests, and holiday rep said it was my 60th , but we didn't have anything special offered when we arrived, nor a reply to an email asking to book a table for evening food. But we gathered they don't do evening meals when we got there. . Breakfast was OK. Cereal, scrambled eggs and thin bacon , but this disappeared quickly, they also had lots of cakes , meats and cheese . Swimming pool great . Location perfect, above road but has a lift for those carrying cases or can't manage steps and steep driveway. Staff polite, but quite. The people who work here are hard workers that's without doubt. Deliveries do arrive early hours of morning and woke ius up around 4 /5 am a few times , but I guess this can't be helped. For us this was a nice hotel, that could be even better with room re decorated, and when things go wrong, or someone's special occasion a bit more effort made. Bottle of wine ect , would make al the difference especially in writing reviews. |Plus side are the views amazing, park opposite beautiful and in central position. Taormina is beautiful, take plenty of money, as its expensive. But watching Etna eruption on my Birthday made it special!...
