Exceptional experience here. We were in Varenna for 4 days and we visited Vini Veritas 3 separate times. The first two visits we picked up an assortment of wines as recommended by an affable and informative gentlemen by the name of Hermès. We had a wine tasting (Basic Local) with In Vinis Vertias in late June 2024. The wine selection was gorgeous - we got one white, one red, and one white sparkling. The latter we enjoyed so much that we bought our own bottle afterwards! The owners were lovely and welcoming. They didn't pressure us for time at all, and let us enjoy the experience at our own pace. When you walk away from the many tourists down at the lake and do the effort of taking the stairs up, you will find these small but authentic bars who treat their client as they should.
