I just went here to eat with my fiancé . I normally don’t leave bad reviews but I have to talk about this restaurant. The guy outside ( the host ) was amazing , funny and friendly and we really loved his vibe so we went inside for dinner. We ordered 4 things to taste the food : bruschette ( 3 little slices of soft bread warmed up on the oven , soggy ( “ not crispy “ with a COLD tomatoes sauce , acid as well if you know tomato sauces you know ) 5 $ , a mix salad for 4.5 $ that had 15 leafs and 3 baby tomatoes ( they didn’t even have balsamic vinegar) , but let’s get to the 3rd appetizer for 14 $ of baccalà mantecatto and white polenta ( 3 cubes not grilled or with a nice crispy skin ) , the baccalà was ok but it was like 4 forks of it for 14$ , the main appetizer was their so call “ red shrimp carpaccio “ , im not joking when I tell you that it was still frozen when I gave the first bite and I can’t called that carpaccio , sorry and it was 20$ for again 4 bites , we had a beer and a gin tonic , a water ( that we never even open ) for a total of 65$ … aside been overpriced the quality was really really low , the servers where funny though but the food a big disappointment. I believe that they are much better on pizzas but if what we taste is their pizza...

We ate here twice in the past few days. The food was pretty good both times, pizza, pasta and salads. The first night we had an excellent waiter, friendly and professional even though the restaurant was very busy. Tonight was a bit of a disaster - we had salads and mains. The salads came together, but my wife's pasta was delivered at least fifteen minutes before my pizza. Neighboring tables had their pizzas served to them even though they came well after we did. Our waiter, an older man, seemed to be avoiding me. I caught his eye and asked about my food, he said it would arrive soon. It didn't. My wife was mostly finished her meal by the time my pizza (undercooked) was delivered. I said I wasn't happy and the waiter said "it wasn't his fault, he just took the orders, he didn't prepare the food". No accountability, no ownership of the customer experience. Too bad, we liked the restaurant enough to return, even with all of the other restaurants in the immediate area. Our evening was spoiled, all due to the server not doing his job and not even trying to fix the problem. You can probably find better...

This place needs to reconsider keeping the employee that worked this morning, (African American female). We ate here two times the previous day. It was a nice place because it was right in front of our apartment that we stayed at. Unfortunately they were closed this morning at 0900 so we decided to buy some coffee and croissants and take a seat at their table quietly. She came out very rudely and clapping her hands at us like we were animals and told us no tourists allowed. We never write reviews but this behavior warranted this comment so hopefully the manager can take action because I'm sure they are going to want tourists investing in eating at this place. And top it all, we mistakenly forgot our coffee cup and my husband turned around and noticed she ended up throwing it us, and all the other tourists near by saw...

This place is fantastic! I am truly baffled by their low reviews. I had one of the best pizzas of my life here (the yellow tomato sauce on sourdough with mozzarella di buffola) - you could taste the freshness of the ingredients and the dough was cooked to perfection. Not to mention that the price was inexpensive for the quality of the food! The wine was delicious. This place was recommended by my tour guide as an authentic, Venetian-owned restaurant, and it did not disappoint. It is located in a quiet and charming street, so it was very pleasant to eat outside. I would absolutely come back!

I came here for cecchetti and was not disappointed. This place has a great selection and is centered in a little square. It was great for people watching munching on some cecchetti and enjoying a nice drink. This is also a restaurant, but I don't recommend eating dinner here. I had a Spritz with campari and my husband had a negroni (lots of alcohol). We split the bruschetta and had a crostino de pesce (it was cuttlefish). They were both very good. The crusts were crunchy and the tomato's were pretty good. Overall, it was a great experience to people watch and drink some great alcohol.

Exceptional food. This venue was recommend by our host in Venice, who said they have incredible pizzas and pastas. We ordered the ragu gnocchi and fungi pizza with meat. Service was fast once the order was placed. Food came out fresh and piping hot. You could literally see the steam off the pizza. I ordered a second glass of wine but they forgot, which is why I dropped a star - for last mile service and consideration for customer excellence. Venue was not busy so I don't think it's justified to 'forget' a customer's order. Otherwise, incredible.
