Stayed in the delux canal room for 3 wonderful nights. Beautiful, thoughtfully designed, emaculately clean, and cozy room. The staff is helpful and friendly. We were welcomed on our first night with a bottle of prosecco. The room we stayed in floor 4 (1st floor is 0) only had 2 rooms, it was nice to feel like you had the whole floor to yourself. The location is central, a 5 minute walk to the Basilica San Marco and Doge Palace. The turn down service daily felt like you were in a new room everyday, nice fter a long eventful day.

Tips for Americans:

Breakfast: We never ate the breakfast at the hotel, we wandered every morning, and found it to be less expensive to eat away from the hotel.

AC: During the winter/ early spring months the AC is unavailable for use in the hotel. There is no fan to circulate the air. However, during our stay in mid March it was nice and cool outside, we slept with the canal door open. However, there was a night where the seagulls were loud, and the gondolas do go through there with speakers at times. We were in bed early each night, so this might not be an issue for others.

Bathroom: You will feel right at home. Heated towel warmer, large shower, with rainshower head and wand, and bidet, huge mirror for 2 people, and makeup mirror. Soft robes with slippers.

Bed: Firm bed (i'm fond of a softer bed personally) but we honestly didn't mind, and slept well. The sheets were crisp and clean.

We 100% would stay here again! This is a beautiful gem of a hotel in this unique city. You will not regret it!

Thank you Palazzina Sardi for making our first Venice visit...

Had a great experience at this hotel! The shower in our room was small, so I don't look completely biased, but the room next door was spacious and you can ask for a room with a bigger bathroom at booking. Attentive and kind staff, they were understanding of all of our quirks. They were very well trained. Breakfast was tasty and the attendant made a very good café latte. Air conditioning was working hard in this heat, but even when we left it off to be outside all day, the room was never hotter than how we left it. Again, great experience. It's a one minute walk from the San Marco Vaporetto and taxi services, great for taking your luggage in and out. There is an elevator in the lobby for that as well. Gondolas pass by the...

The absolute perfect hotel in Venice. We enjoyed our stay and were lucky to have booked the junior suite - the ceiling is gorgeous, felt like we were staying in a museum. The staff were really welcoming and helpful with recommendations, and even helped to call our water taxi to confirm our reservation. The hotel is perfectly hidden 5 minutes away from the Doge’s Palace, but is located on a quiet street so it’s really peaceful. Since it’s close by the best locations, we were able to pop in for a break from the heat in between exploring. 1000% will stay at Palazzina Sardi again the next time we’re back in Venice.

We stayed here for a few nights in early February and it was lovely! Fantastic location, not too far from restaurants, shops, San Marco Square, water taxi stops but since it was off a main street, it was quiet... Staff was friendly, breakfasts were great (included hot breakfasts too, not just continental). Beds were comfy and other amenities were good. No issues - would stay here again!
