Osteria Da Baco — Restaurant in Venice

Wanted a coffee and a snack in the afternoon. Was not busy so took a seat inside. Ordered coffees which were great. When ordering food, waiter didnt know what types of Arancini they had as it wasnt specified in the menu. He didnt know - no dramas, and asked another guy to answer. After placing orders, we thought we had ordered 4 of these and upon getting him to read it back only had noted 3. Tried to clarify what we wanted and it very quickly became all too hard for him and he grew impatient and then said "look i dont have time for this, i have other customers to serve". It was at this point we should have paid for our coffees and left, but we were tired and hungry and let it go. Worst customer service i have ever encountered, this guy should not be working in hospitality with his attitude. The place wasnt even busy and he spent a fair amount of our remaining time there standing around. We also ordered two medium sized ham and cheese toasties. These were ok but just what you'd make at home. Plenty of ham but cheese was lost. Bread looked like standard sliced white bread block loaf, so not sure what what a small one would be made of. Decided to have dinner here as the prices and Reviews were pretty good but kinda regret not going somewhere else we felt like we were being rushed the entire time . We sat down had a look at there menu very reasonable prices there was so much on the menu we couldn’t really decide what to get so we asked the waiter for recommendations he gave us the most basic recommendations like Lasagna spaghetti ect ended up getting the gnocchi and pesto pasta which came out in like 2mins aswell as our drinks which we were very sus about im assuming its pre-made they also squeezed in a huge group right next to our table which just made it feel like they where trying to jam as many people in. As for the Food tasted like cafeteria food and came out extremely fast we didnt even get to finish our entry before our mains came out. I had an extremely horrific and aggressive encounter with the workers here. I was sat down as a family of 5 inside being told that we would move outside right when the first table cleared. We proceeded to order drinks and an appetizer and the server sat 2 new groups outside. My mom was asking what the vegetarian options in the window were and the worker started getting out of patient and yelling at her to just check the menu, which he didn’t provide.
