Residenza Palazzo Negri | Rooms & Apartments Verona — Hotel in Verona

My son and I stayed in the apartment called Grecale for a month and then Zefiro for a little over a month when we came to Verona from October to December. The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of the center, with a short walk to grocery stores, shops and restaurants. I loved being able to go out for a stroll through the piazzas and along the river. Luisa and her husband could not have been better hosts. They were extremely friendly, communicative and flexible, making sure my son and I were comfortable and had everything we needed, going above and beyond. The apartments had what we needed for a long stay, with a kitchen, laundry and nicely finished bathroom. Visiting Verona for the 1st time, the Residenza proved to be a perfect location for our maiden visit. Situated in the old town, just 50m away from Porta Borsari, - and a mere 5min walk away from both the Arena & Piazza Erbe, - we couldn’t have gotten a more ideal base in Verona. Our #5 Topazio room at the 1st floor was clean, comfortable & we very much appreciate the cool & efficient AC, - providing a much needed respite from the humid summer weather. Best of all was the warm, friendly, and kind hospitality given by our hosts Luisa & Elisa, - always checking whether we needed anything during our stay, and especially, despite the very short notice, giving us a wonderful opportunity to watch the Opera (Aida) at the Arena - an experience we shall always treasure. Totally loved the quirkiness of our room and have never stayed in such a big bedroom in all of our travels. It was like stepping back in time with its many original period features yet still had all the modern day luxuries and comforts that you would need. Staff were super helpful even before we arrived with their fast response and knowledge of the area which made our travels and stay much easier to navigate. The location was fantastic in a lovely quiet area yet we were only minutes away from the main piazzas with all the attractions of the old town within easy walking distance.
