San Matteo Church Ristorante Pizzeria — Restaurant in Verona

I was very unfortunate to eat at this restaurant. Food was terrible, I ate vegetable soup, it was sour and bland, like it was just water and vegetables put together with tomato extract which was disgusting and sour. Then it was followed with sour and unpealing pasta with tomato sauce that looked like it came from a can. Pasta was not cooked enough. We also got bread, it was stale and white (not baked). The lady who served was unappealing, we had to help her with serving the table. Also when we asked her how much is tap water, she said 1 euro, when the tab came it was 2.5 euros and they included an extra bottle that we didn't order.The gluten free food was just cooked carrot, broccoli and green beans without any seasoning. Anyway, definetly not worth...

Having eaten here multiple times I cannot recommend it enough. Walking through the door, you receive a warm welcome and are ushered quickly to your table. Decor' is pleasant, and the restaurant immaculate. Wait staff are attentive, and service is quick, and with a smile, every time. Not sure how the pizza is served so quick, it seems to arrive before you finish ordering it! Multiple different items on the menu, so don't be afraid to enter. Well lit, great atmosphere and hosts both tourists and locals alike. Value, it's excellent! pizza has to be some of the best I have eaten anywhere, and as I mentioned, arrives quicker than a burger at McDonalds. Really cannot impress how much I have enjoyed this restaurant both eating in, and...

The restaurant was recommended by who I staied with and he knew the workers here and give me a discount which is great. However, the lady with classes who served me the food was not respectful, once she served me the bread as a strated she put it in the very far corner of table which made me lean to pull it. And she is the one who take the order and I wasnt satisfied with how she interacting. The lady who serve food is more respectful and welcomeing but the food wasnt that great (I took the fresh home made pasta with sea food) not recommended.
