Aoiso — Hotel in Fujikawaguchiko

Perfect place to stay if you want to explore all the beautiful places around Fuji! Super convenient to all major attractions to include the 5 major Fuji lakes. The stay was wonderful. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. The onsen can be shared privately by couples and is tatoo friendly which is a rare luxury in Japan. The breakfast was also delicious and Shogo was very friendly, helpful, and made us feel at home! Would definitely recomend to anyone, would love to stay at...

really wanted to like this place but the smell when you enter the property was extremely unpleasant. It also didn't fade during the stay and was most noticeable downstairs.

While it was incredible to have a view of Fusan from my room, I found that the room was also not fully meeting my expectations. There were stains on the wall and all over the ceiling.

I only stayed for 2 nights hence why I didn't complain or find a new accommodation but overall I would avoid this place...

Had the best stay at Aoiso! The house was really accessible, just a couple minutes bus ride from the station. The view of Mt Fuji was breathtaking and made every second of the journey to reach there worth it. The room itself is a beautiful traditional ryokan completed with a small onsen provided for the guests.
