Edit: Visited again for breakfast. The breakfast menu was amazing. It is filling, delicious and cost effective! I'll be sure to visit this cafe every time I'm in Kawagoe.
I ordered shrimp and avocado pancakes and my friend got a chill beans pancake. We ordered it from the lunch menu and it cost 1000 yen. The portion was filling. The pancakes were soft and delicious. Avocado and shrimp could have been better. The salad was good. I tried my friends chilli beans pancake and it was good too. Although I felt it could taste better. It was cheaper than any other pancake places even though it was considerably close to the hon kawagoe station. We went around 1:30 pm so there was no waiting time. The restaurant has an American theme and is beautifully decorated. The Truman Show was playing on the TV. There were figurines of Disney and marvel characters. A lot of posters of American movies and bands were put on the wall. The washroom also was covered with American movies and bands posters. Overall it was a chill place with good food....

However, the main star was the pancakes, which were soft and fluffy with a hint of crispiness on the edges. Pretty sure they used buttermilk too, but might be wrong. They were so good that I almost wished I had just ordered them plain. I do think they would be even better if just a tad thicker, but it is still the best pancake I've had in Japan!
The set I ordered was 770 yen (tax included) and includes a drink (coffee, tea, juice)...
Read moreVisited 6th Sept 2018. Has a slight diner feel about it. Lots of movie and TV character and American paraphernalia in the shop making it a fun place to visit. We were the first in for their lunch time opening, but by the time we left there wasn't an empty seat and there were people waiting. Light fluffy pancakes at an affordable price. There is an English menu. They have high chairs and a few toys for kids to play with. They give kids a lollipop when you are paying your bill. Reasonably priced, good selection, timely service but they did forget to bring part of our order! No official parking, but there is coin parking right beside the cafe. Hon Kawagoe station is within...
