Worst experience in Japan… There is no staff on site, check-in is done on a tablet and if you have a question, you can keep it to yourself, there will be no one to answer you. A phone number is supposed to be available until 9pm… no answer starting 6pm. As soon as we entered the room, we were struck by a strong musty, damp and moldy smell. The futons and tatami mats are old, uncomfortable and also impregnated with this unpleasant smell. There are no bathrooms with showers. Not to mention that our room was next to the toilets and with a bad phonic isolation… All of this for an unreasonable price of $110 (16k yens) per room for one...

It is about 10 min walk from Yubakata but it may be inconvenient with large luggage. No one is available at the facility. It is self check-in...

Over priced for what you get. NO baiting facilities - you are expected to bath at area Onsen. Location is not the greatest. Other guests often let their doors slam and spoke loud in the halls - very noisy. Room was freezing upon arrival. I was excited for the Kotatsu but it...
