They say it’s gelato..but I don’t think it is. It has the taste and texture like soft cream - but I’m no expert. ¥660 buys you an all you can eat pass for 60 minutes. I was able to mix and match 8 times. You must reuse your cup.

I recommend mixing plain yogurt + strawberry sauce + 2 plain rusks = strawberry cheesecake flavor.

The coffee tasted awful...

Didn't try the all you can eat ice cream buffet, just came here to buy the famous Kusatsu rusk. Loved the plain and earl grey ones, they are crunchy but not too hard to the extent that it makes you hard to bite. Sweetness level was just right, best paired with a cup of tea. A pity I did not buy a lot because even though it is light, it is actually...

2021/06/17 訪問。 ラスクなどのお土産店、ソフトジェラート食べ放題の飲食店両方の顔を持つ店舗。 湯畑から割と外れの方に位置しており、しかもお店の少ない側にあるため、明確な目的がないと行かないような場所にありますね。 お土産を買うだけならこの店舗以外に委託販売しているお店がいくつかあるのでわざわざ直接行くまでも無いかな。 (バスターミナルの売店など) ジェラート食べ放題は1人550円と激安。安すぎる。650円までならアリだなと感じます。 1杯半ほどで一般的なジェラート屋で購入する場合で元が取れる計算かなと思います。 しかも、画像にある通り、飲み物や販売しているラスクなども付いているためより満足感は高い。 バニラ、ミルクチョコレート、ヨーグルト、塩キャラメル味の4種類あり、必要最小限ですが、十分であると思います。 時間制限は無し。混雑時は1時間の時間制限が設けられますが、人気店であることと、席数がとても少ない(9人くらい)ため、ほぼ1時間となることでしょう。 もちろん、普通であれば数杯でダウン間違いないので何時間もいる必要ないのですが…。 この日は平日で、もちろんコロナ禍なのですが、満室くらいにはなっていました。 ただ、どういうわけなのか、椅子がとても座りづらく、オシャレ感を出したいがために危険な高さになっているので、特に小さい子がいる場合は気をつけたほうがよさそうです。 肝心な味について。 ジェラートはソフトクリームと比べ濃密濃厚であることが条件であると思っていますが、 ややそれが欠けるかなと感じました。 ソフトクリーム機のようなもので撹拌され続けているので、ジェラートではなくソフトクリーム感が強く出てしまうのは仕方のないことかなとは思います。 「ソフトジェラート」という記載もあるにはあるんですが、一般的にはかなりピンと来ないと思います。
