The condo instructions were clearly given and prompt reply. Location is very good, supper near Dotonburi and Korumon market and Nipponbashi station. We are a family of five(2A and 3C) staying in a room. it was quite cramp. 2 queen size bed and the fifth person needs to sleep on the sofa bed. Sofa bed not the most comfortable. Not even flat after opening.
A few things fall short of my expectations.
I think if u are a group of adults, this place is fine given the price and location. But for family travellers with young kids i wouldn't recommend this place. We would pay more and stay elsewhere the next time we are back. There are no lack of accommodations...
Read moreThe location is near to nippombashi station exit 6, after climbing the long stairs, we took about 5-10mins to reach the apartment. If you have kids with you, be mindful of nearby “love hotel”, having said that the ladies there are kind enough to chase you (and your kids) away. Appreciated that gesture hahaha.
Other than 7-eleven, nearby got a few local food store for our meals, we went there to eat at least 3 times during our stays there.
Hotel check-in was confusing at first. There are two panels at the entrance (see attached photos) - one for residence, one for guest. We kept using the residence panel as it is more prominent. We tried the guest panel according to the email using “*” followed by 4-digit. However the note on top of the panel said otherwise, we finally successful get into the check-in area. In the check-in panel, there will be a remote operator assisting us on the check-in, they will capture our passport and our facial.
The corridors are cleaned, we used a different code for our room, same method, palm over the reader, press 4-digits follow by *.
Rooms are clean and tidy. Towels toothbrush toothpaste washing machine powders bathtub cooking utensils water boiler fridges aircon etc are provided. One comment is the two beds, too soft for us, any of the bed seems small for both parents.
Last day we took our luggage along, didn’t lock our luggage at the outdoor area. We took breakfast nearby and then walked about 20 mins to namba(nankai line) station(no stairs to climb 😆) to...
Read moreThis is more of a condo rental than a real hotel. The location is pretty good near dotonbori and the metro, but the street is a bit seedy. While process of getting checked in and seeing up the room is very annoying, particularly if you don't read Japanese. We never received the door code info via email and were locked out of the hotel until another guest let us in. There is no staff onsite and we had to email and wait for another check in code to do the electronic check in. Room was very hot on arrival and the AC never really kept the room cool. The "couch" was an uncovered single mattress. The room is very modern with lots of electronics (bathroom controller, bathtub controller, washer, etc) but everything is in Japanese and Google translate doesn't work so well. Also, the luggage storage is outside, and the luggage locks are attached to the racks with zipties. Overall its clean and spacious, but we had a really...
