I’ve been to this café over 20 times. The last time, the male waiter wearing glasses was very rude to us—he wasn’t welcoming from the start and displayed nervous behavior. He didn’t present the coffee cards, which is something they always do when serving coffee.
We accidentally left our empty water bottle behind, and instead of returning it to us politely, he chose to speak in a very rude tone, saying that they’re not our trash can and adding an inappropriate comment about our country which i did not understand completely as i just walked out. He speaks English very well—I know this from previous visits.
As foreigners who have lived in Japan for five months this year, this was the first time we experienced someone being so rude to us for no reason. We are polite, not just here but also in our home country and everywhere else.
This incident will not change how I feel about Japanese people or their hospitality, but it left us feeling very bad. I will never visit this café again. There are many other cafés where we are welcomed, and people recognize and appreciate our repeat visits.
Also noticed, after reading some comments, that this café seems to expect customers to order their cakes while having coffee. I can only eat sweets occasionally due to having insulin resistance. Expecting everyone to eat cake, without offering healthier options, feels exclusionary...

A random occurrence landed us on this spot looking for a dessert after our huge okinomiyaki dinner in Namba and we were pleasantly surprised with the unique menu. They can brew your carefully crafted coffee with 5 different methods.
We tried the Iced coffee with rum raisin ice cream, chocolate shake, melon soda float and one of their specialties, Kafua Milk (a nonalcoholic homemade Kahlua flavored coffee beautifully designed)
The dessert portions were small, yet delicious and didn’t have the mass produced taste. They each tasted as if they were hand made to order.
Service was polite and attentive but, One thing to keep in mind is this cafe carries a calm and relaxed environment so keeping your voices and laughter to a low level is requested.
The English menu also made it inviting for foreign guests and on the way out, you can purchase the individual packets of coffee from all...
Read moreWe followed a guide to LiLo Coffee KISSA, a hidden gem on the second floor of one of Osaka’s busiest tourist streets. It turned out to be my best coffee experience ever!
From the moment we arrived, the staff warmly greeted us and introduced the menu. Knowing we were first-time visitors and tourists, they explained everything in detail and in perfect English. I chose the “Dominican Alfred Diaz Winy Natural” prepared with the siphon method, and it was excellent. The flavors were exactly as described - I could genuinely taste the milk chocolate mouthfeel, which was a delightful surprise.
We also tried the coffee jelly, which I believe is their signature item. Its slight bitter aftertaste paired perfectly with the cream on top - absolutely delicious!
The shop has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making it a great place to relax. They also sell coffee beans and products, which is a nice touch for coffee enthusiasts. Highly recommend checking it out if...
