We are a party of three and we stayed at E-Hostel's luxury family room. The room has its own bathroom and four bunk beds. We think the location is quite good and staffs are friendly. However we find the room itself is extremely small. We have to keep our luggage close and put aside in order to be able to move around the room a bit. There is only one small table and a tiny fridge for drinks only. The bathroom is also very small with hardly any space to put anything in it. We ended up using the common shower room because it is a lot more spacious there. The bedding is comfortable and they offer free room cleaning service as we stay more than three nights. Sound proofing of the room is not so good so if someone talking loud next door or at the corridor area, we can hear it. ||||Location wise, it is not bad. It's walking distance to Shisaibashi and close to one of the subway line. Plenty of restaurants and convenient stores around. ||||Because the room is so small, we ended up spending little time in the room other than sleeping at night. The common area at the lobby has become where we hang out at night. There is big TV, hot and cold water, simple kitchenwares for guests to use. ||||This room is not recommended to any family with a lot of luggage and there are 4 people in the room, it would be a problem to fit everyone and...
Read moreThe private room is compact but has everything from disposal slippers, water kettle to fluffy towels and hair dryer. It was clean. As female travelers, the hostel did not feel the safest. Male co-guests hanged out drinking at the main door at night and were loud, the front door was left ajar at night and so the lock was useless/anyone could come in, our bedroom door was not aligned with the door frame so locking the door was challenging the first few attempts. With no staff present, we didn't want to talk to noisy guests in the corridors and tell them to be quiet. In the end, we had no real problem but the sense of safety was absent at times. I won't recommend the...
Read moreThe location was fine when it comes to metro train station. It will take you around 5 minutes walk to get into the hostel. It is also near to shopping areas such as Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi. Quiet area if you want to have a peaceful sleep. The only challenge that we faced for our 8-night stay was the wi-fi connection. It showed that we have wi-fi signal but there is no connection. As a compensation they gave us canned coffees but the inconvenience it brought to us was very upsetting. For our whole stay there was no wi-fi connection. The toilets were not properly cleaned. Bins are always full. Towels are not changed daily unless...
