Having spent hours in the evening trying to sort out a faulty SIM card and being turned away by many yakitori and izakaya spots for being 1 pax, this spot was my last hope, right in front of my accommodation.
Maybe I was hungry, maybe I’d just given up when I turned up. But regardless the manager Noboru was lovely and hospitable. Although I couldn’t speak Japanese nor he English, we were still able to communicate and the yakitori whilst lacking in the smoky flavour, made up for it in texture.
I would recommend ordering the 7 skewer set whether you are on your own or as a group to try out a variety of parts, and then decide what parts you’d like to order further.
Personally I liked them all, but chicken neck, chicken heart, chicken tail and chicken cartilage where they get it wrong in so many places was my go to.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and they even had mandarin menu for us. We didn’t know how to speak Japanese so we communicated in English and we had no issue!
