Apartment Hotel 11 Namba — Local services in Osaka

NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY! Worst check in experience ever! First of all, I never received any email or text message to explain the mobile check in process. When we got there, there's no body to help and none of the numbers posted on the wall worked either. We hovered around the tiny entrance for 45 minutes trying to figure out. Worried that my reservation on booking.com didn't go through ( there' no confirmation email either) and not wanting my kids wander on the street for the evening，I made an emergency booking for another nearby hotel. Ironically the minute after the payment went through，someone from the hotel magically showed up and told me they have my reservation. Now I have to pay 20,000yen to cancel the other hotel. Booking.com is useless and not willing to refund the extra charge and Apt.11 is again nowhere to be seen or contacted. My warning here is to avoid any headaches: STAY AWAY from this chain! this is the ultra opposite from the sevice you would expect in Japan. I would give it -10 if that option is available. For the amount of money you're paying, pick somewhere with staff onsite...

This apartment has the largest space and beds during our entire 2-week trip in Japan, and we’re really happy with the good rest afforded by it before leaving Japan.

One minor feedback is that the owner should fix the protective cover of the bed frame edge, as it has come off (see attached picture). I had accidentally knocked my shin against it and suffered a minor abrasion.

There was also some construction just opposite the apartment, so light and late sleepers may hear some noise in the morning after 9am. But the apartment/glass doors has good soundproofing so we didn’t find this an issue.

Tip: this apartment does not have a local contact/office to receive luggage. We specified a 7-9pm delivery time and was able to track our luggage via airtag. When we saw the delivery guy nearby, we went down and collected the luggage without issue at 7.30pm. To forward your luggage, you can ask the nearby 7-11 if they have this service. We stayed at Apartment 11 Namba and had a very pleasant stay. We were party of 4 and booked Deluxe Quadruple Room. It fits us very well and overall the room was very modern styled and clean the light was perfect like the yellowish cozy lighting behind the bed. The toilet and bathroom was separate and extra plus for the bathroom which had bathtub and shower stand next each other. The bathtub was just perfect. We washed clothes every day and hang our clothes dry in the bathroom as it had the dryer function which was perfect as the clothes got dry after few hours. Location wise perfect closed to Namba and 0101 shopping mall incl the Namba metro just 5-6min walking distance to many nice restaurants and many convenience nearby. Located also in a quiet area which was perfect. I definitely will come back and stay at apartment 11 Namba if I get a chance to visit...
