ABSOLUTELY LOVED my stay here. Visited Osaka for two weeks, originally only booked Y Cabin for the first week but so glad that it was my first hotel bc I loved it so much, I rebooked them for the second week (and ignored my other hotel booking-I had some issues with the other hotel)!!||||It's right in Dotonburi just off the main Mido-suji Blvd, which if you cross this you are right in all the shopping and eatery district. Its above a 7-11 and not even a block from one Lawsons and like two others just a couple blocks away. Very walkable and also right by one of the side entrances for the Namba metro station and not fair from the big Namba station that gets you to and from the airport (10 min walk). Which made it really cheap to get to and from the airport (about 900 yen for the one way train ticket...vs so much more for a taxi).||||The hotel itself is clean and well kept. The pod mattresses are not the best but the comforter I found very..comfy lol. Could opt to sleep on top of that for more cushioning. Some reviewers complain of the warm temps - I found that true, however, it's subjective and easily resolved. I just used the wall phone by the lockers to call down to front desk and they always happily turned the AC temp cooler.||||Which leads to the wonderful staff-I could not have asked for more honest and helpful and pleasant staff to see and talk to each day. They helped me with dinner reservations and rebooking another week. I would definitely come back if in...

Read moreAmazing capsule hotel experience in Namba worth your every yen!
This place made me rethink the idea of capsule hotels! If you’re a solo traveler, this is an excellent choice - very affordable and right at the center of the action.
Rooms were a bit toasty, I would prefer them cooler. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to crank up the AC as it is centralized. As expected, it is a double decker and very compact, but it has enough space for a tall guy, I’m a short king so everything was great. Each capsule has a TV and enough sockets to charge your devices. Beds were alright. You’ll still have decent privacy despite the capsule set up.
This is a mostly self-service hotel. You take some of the amenities (toothbrushes, combs, etc) and they also provide you indoor clothes you can wear while inside the hotel and in the sauna, onsen and bathrooms. Towels are provided everyday or you can ask them at the counter. I like that they keep it very clean. They clean the public areas everyday.
The only downside is probably the space at the lockers, so you would need to manage your clothes, toiletries, etc very well especially when the luggages fill up the space.
The location was the best part of staying at this hotel. Right next to it was a 7-Eleven so you know you’re covered with everything you need. It’s a few minutes walk to the Namba MRT station. It’s very accessible and it’s at the heart of Osaka.
A pretty solid 4/5 for me. I will definitely stay again when I solo...
