Akasaka The Hostel — Hotel in Tokyo

I've visited more than 20 cities in Japan and this place is the worst excuse for a hostel.

They cramped 20 people into a room and everyone looked miserable because there was no space and privacy to interact for fear of waking others up.

The sinks were next to the beds and you could hear people showering brushing washing and drying their hair from the bed all day and night.

I booked a studio on Agoda but they refused to honour the booking. They said they only had a capsule for me. Furthermore, the lady tried to extort 3000yen per night more for their linen room with one bed, which was essentially a storage room for their bedsheets.

Plenty of dust mites too because my allergies acted up during the nights. They should be shut down for the...

Great location, clean and modern hostel!!! Not sure what it is about the hot water with other people in sure they just couldn’t figure out how it works lol the bathrooms were spacious and clean. And yes sink is right in front of the pods and yes you can hear people come in and out (all depends on the person if they’re being loud) but everything being within the same area to include the shower rooms along with a very good air conditioning made it very convenient for me. 周辺環境と宿泊の人、時の運。 駅から近い○、 内装がとても綺麗。 広さはあまりないものの、くつろぎスペースもある。 泊まってる人は譲り合いをしており、 備品もあって良い。

海外旅行、旅行者の人、ビジネスついでの人が多い。 客層の民度が維持されれば 良い方と感じる。 海外の人が多く、クリスマスは暖かい雰囲気だった。 場所がもう少し静かなら、さらによかったろうが、綺麗だし柔らかな雰囲気になっていってほしい。

やんわりとでも、男女のスペースが別れたら良いなとは思う。

コミュニケーションが生まれるかは泊まってる人次第。お菓子を分けあったりする場合もあれば、静かな仕事という感じもある。

ただ、たまに泊まってる老年サラリーマンとか、 たまに泊まってる管理の人？おじいさんでビックリする。。

ブッキングドットコムには良いレビューしかないが、、。外国人の利用で旅行の人はマナーが良い人が多い。 まず日本人の男性客のマナーが悪い。一度小人おじさんみたいな他人がいて、ぶつぶつ文句言ってて怖かった。 あと男女混合なのだが、なんとなくでもスペースが分かれておらず、男性客が女性客がどこにいるかベット位置をみてたり(日本人男性に多い).逆に外国人の男性だと、ドミトリーに女性がいないと勘違いするのかシャワーのあと裸でうろついてたり。シャワー室の前に脱衣室がきちんとあるので、マナーとして、男性は裸でうろつかないように張り紙をしてほしい。一番は荷物。荷物を置けるのはいいが、連泊の際、他の客か、掃除のスタッフかわからないが、勝手にうごかして、勝手になかもみたのでは？と思う節があった。。邪魔で動かすとしても、それはマナー違反でしょ。不気味だから触らないで欲しい。利用者同士が勝手にちゃんと譲りあって整理してる。でも、リクエストすると暖房が入ったり、改善するようなので、ここを見ててくれるといいなと願う。ポットがあったり必要最低限の部分で気が利いてるとは感じる。たしかにベットや洗面は割と綺麗。小さいスペースだが、配置が悪くない。しっかりしたトイレが二つあるが、レディースが一つなので、混むと待つが、男女で分けてるのは衛生上も正解だとは思う。変な日本人男性いるので。あとはエレベーターもあるし、海外の人の方が海外旅行するだけあって英語はだいたい通じるしマナーもいいし、楽しい人がいるので、それはとてもいいと思う。逆に飲み帰りの日本人男性客はマナーが悪いし、若い女性客(日本人も海外の方も。)と同じスペースに寝ていいの？と思うので、あまり増えないでほしい。飲み屋街なのがかなり偶に傷だが、立地がとても便利なので、...
