“Staying in this hotel is like "A Double-Edged Sword".” Our stay was from late night July 27 to August 4, 2025 (8 nights)(Husband/wife & a young adult son)
VALUE FOR THE MONEY: -Good... $**/night -Bad... You get what you paid for. That's it, a (little/tiny) place to stay and nothing much.
LOCATION: -Good... Only steps away from Takaracho Station. There's a straight shot from Haneda Airport to the hotel (KEIKYU Line then it becomes ASAKUSA Line after. (STAY in the same train. DO NOT get off). FYI, there's no elevator to exit out of. Good luck if you have big, heavy luggage going up the staircase. There's also Kyobashi Sation next block. There's a Family Mart and a 7Eleven close by. There's a public rest stop next to the hotel. Taxi are there if you need one. It's walkable to Tsukiji Market, Ginza Main Shopping streets and Tokyo Station. -Bad... Great location, but what's around it is something else. If you look at the picture I took, you can see Kyobashi Fire Station just behind the hotel. Yes, we heard them doing their job. Our rooms were adjacent to a frewway on/off ramp. Often there are some JDM cars testing out their car's speed capabilities between 1am-4am. My son was very excited to tell us that he saw R34's racing up the ramp in the morning when we got up. He saw them, we heard it.
CLEANLINESS: -Good... Hotel surroundings were clean. -Bad... There is something wrong with their air filtration system. Check out the picture of the air vent. It was clogged with lint. It seemed like the air filter has not been replaced for quite sometime. Thus, whatever going through the vent fell heavily all around the room. The overhead rest was dusty.
STAFF: -Good... Front desk staff were quick to take action. I stopped by at the front desk and showed them the pictures before we went out and about in the morning. It was thoroughly cleaned when we got back that night. We were supplied the daily essentials every morning from the house keepers. -Bad... The house keepers could improve more on their mingling skills. It's either they were shy or did not want to bother talking at all. The house keepers from the other hotels in Japan we've stayed at, always have greeted or have a little conversation with us whenever we were in their presense. This is the very first hotel we've stayed at that no one even acknowledged. They just walked and passed by in front of us. I am not sure if they were mad about cleaning the dusty room or they got into trouble when I reported the linty vent. I even gave the front desk, the house keeper and the maintenance each a box of Hawaiian(from home) chocolates the next day thereafter.
FACILITIES: -Good... A little restaurant, a comunity microwave in the 1st floor and a curtained small little area to hold your luggage. -Bad... Everything is tight. Lobby has no chairs/seats to sit down. Most of the area is used for storage. There's only one tiny elevator with no A/C available. I thought the property enclosed (fully roofed), but it is not. It's an open air in the middle of the building. Water was splashing on our door when it rained. THERE IS NO LAUNDRY ROOM in the hotel. I was given a map of the nearest laundromat to go to when I inquired. See attached pic. It's about 4 short blocks away.
OVERALL: I undestand that this is a business hotel. If you are in for a short term, it's the best bang for the buck. If you have a family, sizable or multiple luggage and staying here longer, then IMO it's not for...

Read moreWe stayed at this facility from April 20th to April 23th 2023 for a total of three nights.
The positives : Check-in was easy and smooth. Location of the hotel is great, it is next to metro stations and at a walking distance to the famous Ginza crossing. Tokyo station is a 15-min walk also. Some local restaurants are open late in the area. The hotel has two convenient stores near by.
The negatives : The hotel staff forgot to provide amenities for the second person in the room. However they quickly re-adjusted the situation. Bathroom is tiny and water splashes everywhere on the floor after showering. I’ve asked the reception to help me with a restaurant reservation upon which they refused due to a lot of no shows. I’ve explained that it’s difficult for me since I do not speak Japanese but they still declined to help me. Instead they recommended that I use the room phone to make the call. There were a surprise charge for the aforementioned at check-out. Afterwards I’ve requested the reception to order a taxi and asked for a large one since we have a few big baggages. They replied by saying that it was not possible and we need to check with the taxi driver itself. Thus I took the initiative to look for taxi myself which I found and was ready to embark. The lady ran out and said that I was using the wrong cab and should be taken the one she ordered. That was a very confusing situation since she said she couldn’t book a larger cab for us! Although she remained calm we could see in her non-verbal that she was irritated we took another taxi. In conclusion I would highly recommend the reception staff to be more customer oriented and not deny the customer’s request...
