Staying in Japan you get quite used to compact rooms; I will say this is the smallest room I have stayed in but whilst it is compact it is located in a new building and is comfortable. I was booked into a Double Room with Shower Room which features a double bed and a small shower cubicle rather than the usual bath/shower combination tub. All the amenities you need are provided; shower, bed, TV, fridge, toilet and sink. If you are someone who spends most of the day out and comes back to the room to have a sleep then this is the perfect hotel for you, if you are someone who spends a lot of time in a hotel then it probably isn’t. The room is compact with just enough space to fit your personal belongings. The shower room is compact but I was able to have a proper shower unlike the shower/tub combinations in most hotels where I usually have to constantly bend down as I hit the roof. Check in and check out was fast and efficient and they were able to store my bags as check in had not started when I arrived initially. ||The hotel is located about a 10-15 minute walk from JR Tokyo Station; if getting the Narita Express you can hop off at Tokyo Station and walk from there (the walk is easy as), if coming from Haneda you can get the Keikyu line and hop off at Takaracho station which is a 1-2 minute walk from the hotel. If getting the Keisei Skyliner from Narita, hop off at Ueno and catch the Ginza Subway Line to Kyobashi. Once again this station is literally located within a 2 minute walk to the hotel. There are many retail stores close by in the Ginza, Yurakucho and Tokyo areas plus many restaurants, and convenience stores are located close by to the hotel. A Post Office is also located just down the road from the hotel. An interesting yet unexpected museum is located about a 4 minute walk from the hotel, this is the Police museum and it is free to enter. It is open 6 days a week from 09:30-17:30 however is closed on the usual closure day of Monday. ||This hotel is very good for a short stay. I would recommend it to anyone passing through who just wants a quick stay close by to shops and transportation. The only thing I would change about the hotel is the small table and seat next to the bed which is superfluous and takes up much needed space in the room. Other than that if you want something affordable with all the amenities you need, this...
Read moreLet’s start with the bad part, I got a room with 2 beds and it was pretty clean and chill enough. The bad thing were the bathroom. I’m sorry I forgot to take a picture, but the bad thing about the bathroom is how small it was. We were talking 20cm from the Shower to the Toilet, and then there is nothing. A pretty little room. The thing I liked was the toilet, with a little cool feature.
It was also so hot inside of the hotel, but I think that were just Japan so I can’t really blame them. There were an AC so I can’t really complain tho.
But overall, the location was pretty good. We took over to Shibuya, and it was a pretty easy train ride. Not only was the station pretty close, but when you figure out the train system is pretty nice.
The service was not bad, but not the best. It was hard to understand eachother, because I could see the guy at the reception weren’t the best to english. But he was pretty sweet and did his job right. If he just could have talked a little better english, this would have been 5/5 service. But still great!
Overall, great hotel. Just...
Read moreThis hotel is near to a few metro lines making it easy to travel around Tokyo and going to the airport. There's free coffee, tea, water and a microwave to use at the small cafe on the ground floor. Amenities including face masks and hair wax are available for guests to take from the shelf next to reception. staffs are friendly but are inflexible with the check in time. I arrived at 2:30 pm but was still told to wait till 3 pm for check in. Free happy hours alcohol and udon are offered during the evening. The breakfast is not worth the price as it's just a very simple set with rice and some pickles. The air-conditioning unit in the room has lots of dust inside. I wonder how long they've not been serviced. Room is small, just enough for you to open one big and one medium luggage. Toilet is so small that the toilet bowl has to be installed at an angle. Please check which entrance to traini station to use when you're taking the train to the airport. There are different entrances for Haneda or Narita airport. Look out for the signboards at the station entrance for the...
