So much to say. Here's what all went wrong. When I checked in, two men at the front desk told me they sent back the package that had arrived for me, because the name on my reservation (English) didn't match the name on the package (Japanese). One of the two is foreign, the other Japanese. You're telling me between the two of you, you can't put two-and-two together? Then there's the male-only sauna. Then there's the fact I saw in my spambox a letter from hotel saying it I did not call them by a certain time on my check-in day to confirm I was arriving, they were canceling my reservation. Really? Then there's the fact I tried a new website (Agopo) to book, and understood I was getting a room at a 70% discount off of its original price of US$365. That the hotel thought they could charge me $365 for this hotel room is proof just how ridiculous AI-based travel sites are (on me for not knowing). Still. I don't know why I didn't get a nice room two people could comfortably fit in, but I didn't (especially as I was supposed to be getting a room originally priced at US$365). The "art" in the room was a piece of cloth stapled onto a board. The walls of the bathtub were streaked with something white that evidently the staff couldn't remove. This hotel is okay with either dirty walls in the bathroom, or don't provide the staff with necessary cleaning products. Wi-Fi can't be relied upon. And then there's the bathroom mirror. I have video of the mirror in the bathroom buzzing in sections of the mirror as if it's finding a hidden bug or camera. This is a business hotel, not a family-friendly hotel. Even for a business hotel it's shabby. Seriously. Go elsewhere. The one star for the service category is for the women at the front desk are wonderful. Thank you for your...

I have to put up for 2 nights and the room is not as per photo.. they put us in the link or call annex which we did know and the moment you enter the hotel they is a very weird smell surround the whole place when entering the hotel. How can the hotel staff stand that or aware of this. And may be that why no hotel staff was there in the Annex. This area also is also use for make shift restaurant which hardly had any dinner..with such intolerable smell... why the hotel does not understand who will go there to dine. We paid close to $500 per night.and was expecting he room to be ok; and Tyoko standard and unfortunately it was not to be and the photo posted does not match. Even get the customer service to look at the room and keep giving excuses it is the same and showing me a room that is worse than ours. When we request to cancel they do not allow. The public laundry at the ground level s also not properly maintained and lots of dust..even with 2 hrs also the clothes cannot even dry. And I have to walk to the next hotel l. The reason we choose this hotel is due to a celebrity jaclyn tay review and booking.com.I think the review for this hotel is very exaggerating if you see that greater than 1 point. i will never recommend anyone to stay in this hotel . This is worst then f and b . If you have a similar option like Appa hotel which is so much cleaner and professional.. there are many hotel that are better location. I have not seen any cleaning done in our stay. Our stay from 31 dec to 2nd Jan and we are Singapore guest and this feedback is to alert and feedback our unhappiness...

So i just flew back and had to write this review. I have to admit, even though this is listed as a 3 star hotel, the service is 10 star. As this was my very first time travelling to Japan, I couldnt get my bearings straight. I was literally around the corner and couldnt find the hotel. I called the front desk, and 2 of the staff members came to me with an umbrella (did I forget to mention it was raining when I arrived) and took my luggage and escorted me to the hotel. While I was in the check in process, another staffer brought out a towel and began to dry my suit case.. WOW!!!! After checking me in, I told the staff I wanted to go to a specific restaraunt and they offered to escort me there as well, which I graciously refused. But they did print out directions for me. The room, was average size, not too small, not huge. Clean and tidy. Bathroom had all amenities needed i.e. water kettle boiler, shampoo, hand soap, lotions, towels etc. Water pressure for the shower was on point and heated within seconds. The carpet I would say is the 1 down-side, old and probably time to change it out but not a big deal. Additional amenities were available in the lounge, slippers, towels, toothbrush, hair brush and much more. The staff here are amazing, friendly, outgoing and ready to assist in anyway possible. If/when I ever come back to Akasaka, I will ONLY reserve here. Close to many shops, restaraunts, transit stations. Super AWESOME, HIGHLY...

We had a lovely stay at this hotel in Tokyo. The location was excellent – just around the corner from a metro station with plenty of convenient connections, which made getting around the city very easy. The room was a good size, comfortable and clean, with everything we needed for our stay. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, always happy to help with anything we needed. One charming bonus was the piano in the lobby area, which my son really enjoyed playing – a nice personal touch that made the stay even more special. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a well-located and family-friendly place to stay in Tokyo.

So agoda lists them as having a women's bath and men's bath and the sauna being men only. This is false. The bath is men's only as well. It smells here. We're in the older building and everything reeks and the wood furniture is water damaged and peeling leading me to believe they have a mold problem. The mattress is- well sad is the nicest word for it. The bathroom is not the bathroom from the listing. We are actively looking for another hotel for our remaining nights in Tokyo. The hotel has refused to refund us despite us being unable to stay due to hygiene issues with the property. Do not book this hotel.
