Men only
The place generally felt dishonest. Its a bit hard to see through the polite sugar coating. For some weird reason they dont loet you change your booking via booking.com. When I called on the phone they did very little to try to understand me or talk a bit english, even though I spoke a bit Japanese. They directed me to add one more night through a new booking which would require me to pay an extra cleaning fee, doubling the cost. There weren't any available on booking.com, so I had to go to expedia. They later saw my message on booking.com, and suddenly said there is availability on booking.com. I later found out, after checking in and staying three nights, that this is their method, even though there were at least 20 available beds, booking.com showed ZERO. Thats a terrible pre-checkin experience and customer service.
About the place itslef: Great if you must find a place for the night and you have no other option. Its clean, and has the onsen which is nice. But other then that , I would definitely not stay there again more than one single night. There is no decent place to organize your stuff in needed, and they have some specific rules that take much of the apparent comfort. They do everything correctly, but expect for one super nice lady that was there part of the time, it did not feel welcoming at all. Lots of Sumimasen, with not a bit of intention behind it. I felt they don't really like foreigners (or people in general) but of course they cannot say it to your face.
I do think its a nice spot if you only want to use the onsen to shower, and the restaurant...

The front staff checking in, a man and an elderly aunt, are very good at recommending guests (but in the morning I came to leave my bag at the counter. I see a woman Wearing a dark blue outfit, unlocking the cash register, his face was sullen, not smiling or welcoming any guests.) Good location, near restaurants Near a convenience store Less than 3 minutes walk from the train station.
Weakness❌
Luggage lockers inside the room Guests open in and out all the time, the noise is very annoying. The bathroom is inside the room. will occasionally hear a sound Floor inside the room Makes a sound easily Most of the guests walked and pounded their feet very hard. Closed for cleaning too early, should close from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. No breakfast ❗️I'm shocked. Inside the onsen bathtub, there are 3 cameras that are constantly capturing images. Where is the privacy? It's very dangerous.❗️ Not suitable for people who have difficulty sleeping. The sound of people dragging bags, opening bags, the sound of people walking all night. The bathroom is narrow and the locking system is quite complicated. No skin cream or hair gel. Too small locker (sauna style) The sauna has 2 ponds, hot and cold. As you can see, the water flow doesn't...
Read moreStayed here for 8 nights and it was an amazing experience.
The atmosphere inside the dining and sitting area was so relaxing and zen like with the tatami mat floors and relaxing music.
You get to wear a yukata and given a fresh new one every day, first time wearing one and they are soooo comfy.
The onsen and sauna were also amazing, they had 1 onsen that was usually around 40 C, A cold plunge pool that was around 15 C and 2 saunas one which was smaller and hotter while the other was larger and slightly cooler. There were also lounge chairs in the room to cool off afterwards.
The dinners were also amazing I recommend the tonkatsu set which was my favourite.
The place is also right outside Akasaka Mitsuki station which was an amazing bonus and helped get everywhere...
