(This is a slightly delayed post because I couldn’t find this newer restaurant on Google map yet and needed to look it up.) Hello from New York. I promised the owner to write a review after our visit, and I’m gladly doing so. We walked by this cute little noodle house every day while it was completing its renovation when we were in Tokyo and wanted to try it out. The restaurant opened before our departure, and we enjoyed an outstanding meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The order panel has English options, and some staff members could assist customers in English if needed. It was an all-counter-sitting noodle house, so we got to enjoy ramen while watching it being cooked by the chef. The food was beautifully presented in a bowl. The noodles were chewy, and everything had rich flavors. It is hard to go wrong with ramen, but this is one of the best noodles I’ve had. Most customers were locals except us. The restaurant gave us a cozy local experience without being too intimidating due to the language barrier. The hidden gem is located less than a minute walk away from one of the Ginza Line station exits and is right across the Lyf Ginza Tokyo hotel. You can’t see it from the main streets, but it is right there as you walk into the side street. We would definitely visit again if we were in the area. Congratulations on your...
Read moreI don’t post reviews very often, but I felt like I had to. Came to Tokyo from Canada. While staying at the Hotel Intergate across the street. I decided to give this spot a try because of its above average reviews and rave. And oh boy, the reviews weren’t lying!!!! Rich, beautiful broth, beautiful presentation, atmosphere was amazing, service was more than happy to help you when ordering on the touchscreen, food was delivered in no time, only thing is that this restaurant can get quite busy at times and hard to get into, so make sure you go right when this restaurant opens or near closing time.
Enough with the tangents!!!
Food: I ordered the spicy chicken and it was just the right balance between the thickness of the noodles, the crunchy seaweed, and an egg that couldn’t have been more perfectly cooked. Chicken was soft and falls apart in your mouth. And broth tasted like homemade bone broth boiled overnight to dissolve the bones. Best Ramen I ever had, highly recommend to any tourists visiting Japan or...
Read moreThe broth is deeply flavorful—rich yet clean—with a beautiful balance of umami and just the right amount of oil. You can tell it’s been carefully simmered to perfection. The noodles have a great bite to them, and the tender chicken slices are perfectly seasoned and melt-in-your-mouth soft.
The attention to detail here is impressive—from the silky ajitama egg to the fresh toppings that elevate the whole dish. As tourists, we really appreciated how friendly and helpful the staff were. They even let us know that the hot favorite ramen was on discount—a small gesture that made a big difference in our experience.
The vibe inside is warm and welcoming, and the service is top-notch. If you’re a ramen lover or just looking for a soul-warming meal, Menya NOBUNAGA is definitely worth a visit. This is comfort food...
