A great place to experience shabu-shabu cuisine, with high quality ingredients.

We arrived without a reservation, but were kindly accommodated. The physical space is gorgeous in its simplicity, and the staff was very kind and attentive. We loved the quietness and privacy of the whole experience.

The shabu-shabu was delicious, we enjoyed very much the process as well as the explanations provided by the staff. We also had some tea at the end of the meal, which was also nicely prepared in front of us.

It’s not a cheap place, but well worth the experience. We almost feel like an old time emissary treated to a feast! It’s a celebration of Japanese culture and cuisine, a nice way to...

Accidentally stumbled upon this place as it was near our hotel. Definitely worth the visit especially because they also offer a vegan Kaiseki course option! My partner has been dying for some shabu-shabu but I don't eat meat. This experience was perfect for both of us. The vegan options were simple but flavourful and more than filling. The service was also fantastic- we were shown to a private room and given excellent service by the server who was kind enough to use a pocket translator to communicate further with us. He had excellent attention to detail and was the cherry on top of the fabulous...

Made online reservation and had great dinner at Hyoki Shabu-shabu Kyobashi and chose the wagyu and snow crab course in a private room. The beef was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the Kyoto-style broth and fresh veggies really brought everything together in a clean, balanced way. The atmosphere was peaceful and the staff were kind and professional. One of the nicest touches was ending the course with freshly made matcha, prepared right in the room which is a calm and thoughtful way to wrap up the meal. If you’re after quality shabu-shabu with a Kyoto vibe in Tokyo, this place is...

Brought our company’s European partners here for dinner. The guests admitted that it was one of the best food experiences they’ve ever had in Japan. The food was highly praised among both Japanese hosts and foreigner guests. The staffs were friendly and they even brought an English menu with very descriptive explanation for each dish (see my picture). The overall atmosphere was pleasant and calm. Highly recommended for family gathering, dates or business lunch/dinner where private and calm setup is expected. The price is relatively high but equivalent to the value of the experience.

My wife likes to stumble into really fancy restaurants by accident. This was no different. She saw that they had a vegetarian shabu shabu option listed outside and said we're having this right now. 1st and foremost, our server was one of the best we've ever had, anywhere. And he had a "training" tag on. Every course was explained very well, even with the use of a pocket translator when needed. The food speaks for itself, the drinks as well. Must try. Wife and I had an amazing time, even though we felt super informal in what felt more like a upscale/delicate Japanese dining experience.
