First we were unsure of what kind of hotel this was but my fiance and I were curious and weren't afraid of what this adult only space would be like. It is NOT a bathhouse. It's a hotel that caters to adults and that is perfect for us. For example, the amenities here, you won't find in a place that needs to be kid friendly. A massage chair, a dry sauna, a jacquzzi, and lots of fun things you can do on the TV that they have set up for you. They give you EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING you could imagine needing. Toothbrush, Mouthwash, Sunscreen, foundation, hairbrushes, scrunchies, etc.
The staff were super friendly and took our luggage to our room while we were waiting on our check in time. I saw somewhere in the review that the luggage is left at the front and that must have been a mistranslation because it's the physical key that is left in the hotel. They give you a card to be brought to the 24/7 front desk in exchange for the key which was fine by us since we don't really want to be responsible for that physical key.
The room is vintage for sure. It's our first time to Tokyo so it's a style that feels authentic and we didn't mind. The amenities are refreshed however with a USB-C connection, hairdryer, bidet, you name it, they have it.
What sold it to us was the jacuzzi, massage chair and the dry sauna. I don't think I've ever had a place with private availability of these so coming back to relax with these was a game changer for the trip.
The only thing that I disliked was the smoke smell in the hallway. There's a lot of signs for guests not to smoke. The room had an air purifier so the hotel seems to recognize the issue but I had to note it as something to look out for. Otherwise, a perfect stay!
I'd say this place is perfect for a couple that is open minded to a space that isn't like the typical flagship hotels. We wanted to stay in Shinjuku and this was...
Read moreWe stayed at this "adults-only" place without really knowing what that term meant, but honestly, we didn't mind. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful, beautifully maintained, and spotlessly clean. The highlight was definitely the huge Jacuzzi bathtub, complete with lights, situated in a container room that doubled as a steam bath or steam room with an attached shower. They thoughtfully provided bath salts, a scented sachet for the steamer, special facial products, and premium Bx toiletries.
The bed, though low to the ground, was surprisingly comfortable. The room also featured a fridge stocked with alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, and more. For entertainment, there was a karaoke setup and a massive TV, though we didn’t end up using them much. We arrived two days early before our cruise to adjust to the time difference and explore the area.
What we loved most was the tranquil environment—no screaming kids, no barking dogs. Such a bonus! Oh, and the shampoo and other bath products? Absolutely top-notch.
Another highlight was the bidet toilet—it was amazing! It had warm water, a lighted seat, and even a warm air blower feature to dry you off....
Read moreGood location and easy to find. Accessing a room is fairly simple via a touch screen and then handing the receipt to an unseen clerk. The room is very nice and a great place to relax for a few hours to a night. You can also order food at cost price from nearby establishments. The unseen desk clerk does not speak much english but we were able to still get by. Also there are no English instructions in the room for any controls. Would like to have...
